Hey all of you! How are you doing? Hope well... Checkin’ the Tourism cover I found out that in one of the cassettes that are photogrphed and included in the cover, there’s the name of a song that I don’t know if it’s a demo or a “brand new song” in those times. It’s called “How Can I Take A Chance On You?”. Do you know something about it? Or even, do you have it? Hope you answer.
Rock it on.

There is also mentioned “DON’T YOU...eddie dee 91”
I think this are songs which were on the demo tape but later they were deleted.
Roxette should release a “real” Rarities album with all the songs on it which were deleted from the demo tapes.

This question has been asked to Per once but he couldn’t remember a song called HCITACOY. So probably it wasn’t that important.

As far as I know this song is not a Gessle-Song. I remember reading an Interview were he told he was planning to produce this song for an artist (dont know who it was) but then didnt.

Hej
I read somewhere that “Don’t You” is actually an older version of “I Love The Sound Of Crashing Guitars” (Remember the chorus : “Don’t you ? The 6 string kick inside).
Don’t know about the other song.
All the best

What if this “How Can I Take A Chance On You” was just a title made up for the cover...This would clarify why he says he doesn’t remember it. :)

@animalkingdom
I don’t think so, because there are mentioned other songs which really exists but different version like “Hotblooded (party version)” or “The rain (ok), The Rain 29/12/91 (fas)”.
I don’t think that all things on the cover are fake. That are things which Per and Marie collected or used during their world tour.

Per once said that the other songs were recorded by other artists on the Jimmy Fun label...

As far as I know, “How can I take a chance on you?” was the working title for “How do you do!”.

I noticed these a long time ago on my LP version of Tourism (much easier to read too), and I’m just as curious as you. If these are rare songs we don’t know about, I’d love to hear them someday. :D
