What’s Maries solo status in Sweden?

I’m just wondering what Marie’s solo career is like in Sweden...
Is she like Madonna where every song goes straight in @ #1 or is she like Celine Dion (scraping together top 40 hits).

I think the critics see her more as Roxette now than just a solo artist....so when the review her solo stuff they look at it thru Roxette tinted glasses and don’t get the whole picture.

Äntligen sold tripple platina and was no. 1 for year 2000 and around no. 80 for 2001.....
It was at no. 1 on the albumcharts for 5 weeks or more i think....
so she is doing GREAT!!!!!

I think the critics like Marie and Gyllene Tider much more then they like roxette....
accually i think GT and MF is much bigger here then roxette are....
I know a lot of people that will join me for the GT tour, but noone wants to join me for a rox tour (except my brother and cousin - they join both)

In my opinion Marie’s singles never do well (except for Äntligen) while her albums ususally do really well. Back during the 80s she was highly respected among the critics, but aren’t anymore. Dunno why, in both cases. (And critics, are they usually right anyways??)
