I recently started getting into this band, and even though they are a Christian type band (Me no like that usually) they are AWESOME and totally rock.
Get the album (Fallen) or DL it.
Well, if you are into rock that is. ;)

you would find out how much I’m really into their music right now. I also have the soundtrack of Dare Devil and so far I haven’t listen to the whole album, I’ve only listen to the two tracks which are ’My Immortal’ and ’Bring Me to Life’ both by Evanescence of course.

I have a few bands that I like that sucked live and next time around they were great. A lot goes into the actual mixer that they have.
I like some of the Nu Metal... I am a Disturbed JUNKIE. I also like Linkin Park and some of the other bands... usually not enough to buy a CD, but I surprised myself how much I liked the new Linkin Park. It’s a bit more mellow than Hybrid Theory.
Frankly I am getting sick of the genre’s and sub-genre’s that all the bands are getting smacked into. :P As of two days ago I got into what I assume is a Goth band called Zeromancer (You know techno/rock, and the songs were on a goth cd. ;)) which are pretty freaky. They sorta look like the boys from Orgy. Ok, I am shutting up now... else this wil turn into a book. :D
Ah! Twilight, I remebered... If you like “Haunted” and “Tourniquet” I have a harder version of each that you can DL. It’s pure guitar straight through Tourniquet without the funky sample in the intro.

SOME of it is good. Some of it sounds like every other song on the album.. ;)

Hey Jackie!! I have heard the whole album “Fallen” at work, someone brought it in, and it’s really not too bad!! See, I get suspicious of bands who come out of nowhere without me reading about them in the trades first, and they are on Wind-Up Records, whom I despise 99% of all their acts, Creed included. The only two on the label I liked were Julia Darling and Stretch Princess but both flopped. Add the fact they are on that crap “Daredevil” soundtrack, embraced by crappy radio stations, and people who dig bad nu-metal, and add the Christian tag, so guaranteed I wasn’t going to like Evanescence from the outset, and I was kinda surprised!! The girl has a decent voice, the songwriting is a tad original, and they sound like a weird hybrid of Tori Amos, Linkin Park and Killing Joke. Kinda cool, I’ll have to see if they grow on me more, but I am surprised I think they are at least OK.
