Roxette videos' filming locations

Always was curious about this, where each Roxette video was shot... And since some doubts about the subject seem to arise, as reading the “The most expensive video” thread ( http://www2.dailyroxette.com/smalltalk/thread.php/6885 ), so now seemed like an opportune moment to share this curiosity of mine and so start an own thread, for everyone who indeed knows more about it to enlighten everyone else of us on the place(s) where each of Roxette’s videos were filmed, if you please? :) (And, the more info/details you can provide, the better, of course! Like for instance, you can read in that other thread, the one about the most expensive video, that, for example, “Vulnerable” was shot in Sydney, or “Salvation” in Italy. Ok. But where exactly in Sydney (what’s the name of that beach, for example?), and where exactly in Italy (in what city is that market?), know what I mean by more details? :) Every single piece of info you can add about any of the videos’ filming locations will be greatly welcome!) And thanx already, to everyone contributing!

Oh not so hard....

FLAF - STOCKHOLM, CITY HALL, STADHUSSET, GAMLA STAN

STARS - STOCKHOLM

RUN TO YOU - ON LOCATION

THE LOOK - NEW YORK

SLEEPING IN MY CAR - AN UNDERGROUND TESCO CAR PARK SOMEWHERE IN THE UK

FIREWORKS - LONDON AND WYE BOTH UK

Those are the locations I know...

ANYONE - Portugal
DRESSED FOR SUCCESS - Same as The Look (New York)
LISTEN TO YOUR HEART & DANGEROUS - Sweden
JOYRIDE - California (I think)
HOW DO YOU DO! - Stockholm
QUEEN OF RAIN - France
YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND ME - South of England
MILK & TOAST & HONEY - Sweden

Queen of Rain is in the Mount Saint-Michel. By the way, beautiful place, don’t skip it from your holiday trips!! :D

Much of Salvation is filmed in Naples, the church with columns is the -Basilica di San Francesco di Paola- in the main square. Some other places around the city were used as locations. Positano is the town that is filmed from the beach, the Savoia Hotel should be that in Nola and the fish shop is in Pozzuoli but maybe something was shot also in Capri’s island...

Vulnerable was filmed at Bondi Beach Sydney and somewhere else in Sydney for the mansion scene. I think Church of Your Heart was filmed in or near Sydney.

I thought the location for Queen of Rain looked familer as I went there when I was about 10 years old, still have the postcards somewhere as well as this really tacky magnet!

the centre of the heart - US, L.A. I think

On “Anyone” I may add that it was mostly filmed in Tróia (the hotel and the beach scenes) and also in Lisbon (the scene with Marie “walking alone through the afternoon traffic” and Per driving pass by her)...

So... anyone else with any more details to add on any video?... :)

“The Centre of the Heart” was filmed at “Madonna Inn” / USA (I believe it’s L.A.)

*Matthias*

Yeah I freked out when per said they were filming in Troia.

My last Name is Di Troia :)

Run to you - Frankfurt, Festhalle, city, hotel, airport and highway to Memmingen

where was MILK AND TOAST AND HONEY video recorded? It´s an amazing place... those flowerful trees, the clear blue sea... I suppose it´s sweeden, isn´t it?

.

yeah, it think MATAH was recorded on an island outside Sthlm...

Kiwein1, oh cool: always wanted to know where it was made :) Germany that is then! By the way, what’s up with Memmingen? Not very big town, I assume..

They had a gig in Memmingen right after the Frankfurt show. So the scenes in the bus are filmed on the highway to Memmingen. But I can’t remember how many people have been in Memmingen.

Fireworks - Camdem Town, Underneath Chalk Farm Bridge, Picadilly Circus, some train station in London and also Rye on sea (beach bit)...or sommit like that....bloody big lighthouse in the middle of nowhere....near Hastings.
