I think the song Stupid has a lot of attitude in it and quite different from many Rox songs.
Since many critics complain ROX songs lack attitude, maybe releasing it in the US will make it a success in North America AND SHUT THE NAYSAYERS THEM UP?

Not likely. You can’t release a song and then do zero promotion for it. Or even minimal promotion. It MIGHT work given several things that I won’t get into here because it would go WAY off topic.
Long and short of it: Promote. It won’t work without it.
