And when people here were discussing cliques I think THE clique is right here. I mean many of the threads at Off-topic are dialogues between 3 (or so) fans. In general, I think most Roxette fans just pop in (at Daily Roxette, that is) to see what’s going on around Roxette themselves. :)

I know what you mean...maybe it is a “clique” cause its only certain people that write in here...but i would say its more like a family...warmer ...and of course we welcome everyone new...like Aaso or others...
of course we know you from years before so i dont think u will feel estranged...most of the ppl in here are really cool (except when we talk bout wars, religions etc lol)

I must confess that I check the Off Topic forum more often than the Roxette. It doesn’t mean that I don’t really like Roxette, but I think I could know the other fans more when I go to Off Topic. I met some nice friends here too :)

as a newcomer, i think that perhaps ppl just don’t have anything to say. you guys all seem to know each other so well that it kinda feels like intruding on a private conversation sometimes so it is easier to stick to common ground ie rox.

That opinion is WRONG. How could you feel that way when you haven’t tried getting into those people? or when you haven’t interacted with them very well?? Give it a try and THENNNNNNN you will see that people are very friendly here (of course there ARE some exceptions though) :D

I used to do it, because I thought, and some times I still think, that the off-topic forum somehow “belongs” to some people. They know each other and it is difficult for someone from the “outside” to be easily part of that group, clique, you can name it as you wish.

I don’t think it belongs to anybody. At least, the ones that are here the most (like me) don’t feel it belongs to us, and we’re happy to see new people. Here you get to know the real people, not just music freaks. And most of them (in my opinion) are pretty nice, and even the not so nice ones sometimes you get somehow to like them a bit(what could we do without “coyboyusa”...).

Well, I think when I was a regular visiter of TDR and the Roxette Section, it actually took me about 6 months to actually go into the off topic section... now I always check both sections... ;-)

“Off Topic” section didn’t interest me before too. I was only interested in Roxette, but that was before I discovered there are so many interesting topic you can discuss here.
Sometimes, I even write more here than in the Rox forum.

First time that I came here ... I just read Roxette forum as a guest. I didn’t register for nearly 1 mount. Ya know why, I like Roxette very much but I didn’t like the way that people discussed in that forum!!! After 1 mount I found that I can look at other forums :D so I turned to off-topic and after 2 days I registerd and start to replying.!!!
I think peopel here is off topic is more friendly:) so lovely and I enjoy posting here more than Roxette forum! I only read those threads and do not try to answer most of them...
