Th_Th: I had two answers for that: 1) (and I’m trying not to give it all away for anyone who hasn’t seen it!) there was some connection between them because of what had happened earlier in the movie, even though it shouldn’t have mattered anymore; or 2) she was in complete shock and was just acting automatically (“Oh, look. Someone is riding by on a bicycle. I must wave.”)
Majdy: It stars Jake Gyllenhaal and his sister Maggie; Mary McDonnell as their mother. Patrick Swayze and Noah Wyle are also in it...

I have seen it and I loved it! It is interesting and makes you wanna watch it again right after the film is finished! It is one of those films you have to think about for at least a few minutes afterwards... I loved this film...
There is one thing I didn’t understand about this Film though, can anyone tell me, at the very end, I think it was the mother standing by the tree waving her hand to the kid on the bike... (I think he was on a bike anyway...) Why did she wave? She didn’t even know him...
