will you ever get to your mind and release all the b-sides and bootlegs on one compilation!!!?????!!
would certainly be the most successfull cd you’d have ever made
oh.. and, pose for playgirl!!!

Really? A bootleg album made of b-sides selling more than any other normal album or best of? Tell me who has ever achived such thing... the Pope maybe! Be more successful why? Are you missing their success? Or is only you that has a fan wants those b-sides and rarities so badly? Be more honest and please... this “being successful” is being too much Roxette ain’t no beginners in this...

And where was “Rarities” released?? In Europe there are millions of Rox fans, in America too, and it was release in Indonesia and Brazil... super-intelligent... :| Of course they never wanted it to be a big success...
I would love to hear more demos too, cuz I like Per’s ideas about pop and you can hear them better in the demos (most times). Sorry the rest of producers...

The market for a B-side related Rox album is too small.
If EMI were to dare venture into such a release it would probably take less in sales than it would cost to market, manufacture and distribute.
Nothing could be worse for Roxette than to lose money for their record company.
It would not only damage the relations with their current label, but also hurt their prospect of signing with another in the future.

rather release unreleased trax as an album.. its boring 2 release a b-side album....

I think they should only release something like that when they have to fill a break of some years. Or when they stopped to release new albums.
And we just got 8 songs like that on TBH/TPH!

Roxeanne: I bet Per feels threatened to loose you as a fan, so I am sure in about two months time, you request will bein every record store all over the world.

A b-side/rarity album is not a bad idea. What could give such an album an extra push is to actually release one of these b-sides as a single - perhaps in an updated version. Take ’The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye’ as an example. Or perhaps just include a new song and promote it as a single.
Roxoholic said on April 5, 2003 12:06:
I think that Roxette should release an album with only b-sides and unreleased tracks but first they should release a couple of new studio albums then the b-side album when they take a little break.
Roxeanne said on April 6, 2003 09:51:
bahbahbah!!! :-) i don’t mind you guys mockin’,
i’m still convinced that lots of their b-sides should’ve been a single instead, and i know lots of you’ve said the same before!

Nobody needs a b-side or demo-Album. Only hardcore-fans like the most people here would buy such stuff. And nearly all of us have the demos and all b-sides. So we would buy the album if it’s released but we don’t need it.They should better release an album with new songs. That’s my opinion.
