@ coyboyusa:
“albums: rought 42 million ONLY 3.5 million singles?? that is impossible...
Ferdan said on April 2, 2003 16:05:
Well, i keep finding 15 millions of singles sold by Roxette according to Google.
cskendras said on April 2, 2003 17:40:
i think today they must have already sold about 65 mio. records (albums+singles together). In German newspaper it was always said that they sold 65 mio. records. and that was 2 years ago while Rox were touring in Germany...

Coyboy, are you insane? Go trick some other people with your 3½m’s!
Pabloiac2003 said on April 3, 2003 08:11:
yeah yeah yeah. 2000000000000000000000000000albums sold, but that was until Look Sharp!
coyboyusa said on April 3, 2003 17:13:
3.5 million is about correect for the singles
listen to your hear sold roughly 800,000
IMBL was 1.2 million including reissues
joyride was about 1 million
and the rest is the sum of the singles
you have to rember alot of their singles following the joyride album were not international releases
their singles sales died after the joyride album
its one of the reasons why emi is so interested in ending singles all together

15 million singles.......... not 3.5
animalkingdom said on April 4, 2003 07:29:
@ coyboyusa
Anything related to numbers that is written by you is something we shouldn’t take too seriously (or seriously AT ALL) from now on...
Does anybody agree?
Ingo said on April 4, 2003 08:56:
3.5 million singles is never complete. Alone in the US, they sold from each #1 single more than 1 Million, and in Germany Joyride single sold more than 500.000.
coyboyusa said on April 4, 2003 22:32:
lol we were talking abiut the us in my thread not the whoel damn world lol...besides i always stated that unless i have it in fornt of me not to take it to heartr.....i rember when i said they sold close to 60 mill records you al flammed me AND LAUGHED now it seems that international figure is pretty much on target...u peopel are so fickle lol
bunny said on April 5, 2003 03:27:
i guess singles don’t matter anymore these days, most people download them ... :-P
nate said on April 5, 2003 06:59:
So is the 65 million (albums & singles) from 2001 the most up-to-date sales figures?
animalkingdom said on April 5, 2003 07:00:
@ lolboy
What a twisted person you are!
Who was talking about the US? Since when?
I doubt that roxette would have sold anything near 40 million albums in the states - like you said.
coyboyusa said on April 5, 2003 15:36:
lo i didnt mean to imply they said anything near that in the us sheesh lol i am brain dead but not dumb lol
animalkingdom said on April 6, 2003 09:28:

Gery said on April 6, 2003 11:35:
in their “about” section the www.roxette.se site mentions 42 million albums and 15 million singles so far. probably that’s the correct info.

and singles, but guess never gonna see, lol
