How is doing " NOX " in your countries ?

Charts, at shops, music programs .. what’s going on for NOX in your countries ?
Pascal said on March 31, 2003 12:43:
- BELGIUM
Single is available in the shops but due to a lack of sales, the single doesn’t enter the sales charts.
Radio stations play the song but the song doesn’t appear in the radio charts (except in the listener’s chart of radio Q-Music).
Music channel TMF doesn’t broadcast the clip.

ON: haven’t found the single in any shops at all yet... at least in the southern part of the country... guess i’ll have to wait til the items ordered at the f***club will arrive...
TPH: gathering dust in many shelves... 5+ items in most stores, half with half without the bonus-ep... 23EURO for 2 new songs... well, as MTV would say... at least the art and colours are nice

well im surprise you all say that it’s the biggest flop,....it appears for to have a good response to it!!!well it made chart doesn’T it!!???
DaminehGessle said on March 31, 2003 18:53:
They haven’t even ordered the single here in Canada. I went to any CD store in Vancouver and they told me I couldn’t find it anywhere in Canada. The only way I can get it is to order the CD and they’ll get it for me through Germany. How stupid is that???
So here in Canada, ON Single doesn’t even exist for it to enter the charts. :D

Only Rox fans here know it exists, because the whole setup over here is stupid. :(

I bought ON a couple of days ago at the Free Record Shop. They had about 10 singles in store ans a dozen of POP hits albums, all with the EP... It is available, it’s just that no one knows.....

In this week Esonian top40 NOX went from 39th to 19th ... isn’t it nice :)

Spain: bad for the moment being... funny how a ballad like ATAY did better in a country where uptempo is preferred... or at least I think this country prefers more uptempo tunes than ballads.
tcooh said on April 2, 2003 20:49:
Sadly Opportunity Nox doesn’t get to much airplay in the radio In Norway as wanted, but neither did ATAY. The Ballad Hits peaked art # 8, and stayed more than 6 weeks on sales chart. The Pop Hits is actually at # 40 in sales chart in it’s first week, and TBH took several weeks to appear.

Well, LOL, I am in New York, in the US, and as you know, the song is not released here. I only saw the single once as an import. The US is pathetic really, BAH!!....
dan-rox said on April 3, 2003 12:24:
hi power, do you think Roxette will be a hit again in the USA ?
Roxlander said on April 3, 2003 19:38:
NOX is number 7 in Radio Uno, Costa Rica. They often play the song, and fans can ask for it at www.turadio.net (Radio Uno link, Complacencias) You can also check the Hit Parade (Top Uno) in a section named Lista de Popularidad.
Santi said on April 3, 2003 20:45:
Roxette just received 30 second of showing Opportunity Nox video on Antena 3 Television in Spain!!
Antena 3 is one of the most watched channels (the second after TVE-1) in Spain and they got a lot of time in an ad prime-time! :D
bunny said on April 3, 2003 21:14:
If they release NOX in the US with decent promotion, it will be big i think
powerpoplarry said on April 3, 2003 23:35:
Dan, I sure HOPE so, but in all reality, if something doesn’t happen soon with TBH and TPH, count them as done in the US. Then again, in a way, I don’t mind cuz American radio, MTV and the public here are all sheep really. They were marketed wrong here, and the public + radio have a bad perception on what Roxette’s target audience is and should be!!
Plus, with these days of Linkin Park and Blink-182 knockoffs, Roxette wouldn’t fit in smoothly. In actuality, they really never have and only got popular here by accident.
We shall see...Roxette is too good for America really, they don’t appreciate good pop music here anymore. To the public, music is just a product, free to download...pathetic!!
bunny said on April 4, 2003 02:06:
blink182?? they are not that popular in the US anymore, linkin park, i would say yes.
Sascha said on April 4, 2003 06:45:
I think rox should wait till autumn to release TBH and later TPH in the US, to do proper promotion with TV appearences and so on. Othervise it’s just a repetition of the edel greatest hits.
powerpoplarry said on April 4, 2003 07:08:
Bunny, actually Blink-182 is still popular here, they are just between albums, plus they have a side project Box Car Racer. No, I said Blink-182 KNOCKOFFS, aka Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Riddlin Kids, Gob, Bowling For Soup, bands like that.
Those bands are OK, as they have catchy poppy songs, but those songs are annoying and all sound the same.
Emil__BG said on April 4, 2003 20:52:
i hope that soon can be the same kind of promotion here as the promotion in the Spain..
but it seems to me that in the most of the countries,no one bother to promote a new Roxette’s album–when the TBH came out the video was immediately given to most of TV-at least here in Bg..
and there were lots of promo posters–(one of them goes to me:-))).. but now–nothing.!!
no poster ,no video..
ppl don’t know that there is a new Rox compilation..:-(
nate said on April 5, 2003 07:04:
NOX in non-existent in Canada which is too bad because it’s a great song which could’ve been much more successful if properly promoted.
rezmad said on April 5, 2003 12:25:
It’s not doing anything.... in fact it does not even exist. Hell I only founf TBH in music stores for the first time last week..........
Stupid #$%@ing EMI Australia.... thank god for imports!
s-czopek said on April 6, 2003 00:42:
FRANCE : Not released neither as a promo nor as a commercial single.
Dead country as far as Roxette is concerned.
Last properly released single was “Joyride”.
powerpoplarry said on April 6, 2003 07:31:
Storm, knockoffs are soundalikes, watered-down cookie-cutter bands that seem to mimic the original source.
Ever notice, there have been no Roxette knockoffs?? :-) At least none I can think of...

ARGENTINA: NOTHING!!!! NOTHING HAPPENS HERE!!! NO RADIO STATION, NO CHARTS, NO ANYTHING! JUST THE VIDEO IN A CHANNEL , THE CHANNEL 13, A LOCAL STATION TV , BUT NO MORE FOR US! ;(
Heart_2002 said on March 31, 2003 12:38:
I don’t know as I don’t pay attention to that if i did i wouldn’t like the song cause i would let myself be influeced by external factors that don’t mean that much to me. I only know that the song is having regular airplay at least on the radio and that’s cool!
