can roxette make power ballads

u know per is saying roxette dont wanna make power ballads... maybe thats just his excuse because he cant do it anymore... i mean what is wrong with a power ballad? its better than a light ballad... wich r all in the long run kinda sounding the same.. EG:breathe, BMDTMK...

i really never understood what was wrong with a power ballad pls explain!?!

per described it more of an american radio sound,....with involves using alot of power chords which i think require a degree or guitarmanship per doesn’t posess...and frankly if all your about is having big bad radio hits why record an album just put out singles which was never the intent of roxette

He can do power ballads but if he doens’t feel like doing them he won’t even of we love them so much it’s a matter of motivation and having spirits high... and another you can not demand anything from a songwriter criativity can not be rushed or put under pressure... so who knows in time we’ll get another power ballad in the future

I think, a couple of Powerballads would actually bring them back on top. SOemthing like FLAF, which is one of the greatest songs ever.
