Do you think you are their BIGGEST FAN, or could be??
Then you know for sure a lot of things of them :)
You just have to reply some questions, and show the (Roxette) World how much you know about your heroes.
The rules:
- The ones that say most right answers pass to the next phase.
- The ones that get the lowest points don’t pass. Exactly the 10% of the concurrents with lowest number of points.
- As it would be easy to copy from the previous, if there’s tie the ones that replied first pass to the next round before the last ones. Anyway, don’t copy, since the previous can easily be wrong. (Besides, if you copy you’re cheating yourself...)
- I don’t take part in the quiz (obviously :D). Anyway, I know I’m not the biggest fan ;)
- You have exactly 2 days, that are 48 hours, to reply and take part in this quiz, from the moment I start this thread. Later I will post the results and the people that don’t pass to the next round.

This is much about “some knowdledge and a lot of common sense” than a bunch of gross facts.

Sorry, but I just can’t stand that it’s all cheapily criticized.
The criticism is cheap, not your questions. I was even thinking of asking you to help me out to come up with questions after I read yours, and for sure I DON’T KNOW everything about Roxette, that is why I’m just the judge on questions I can actually reply. You had years of “The Daily Roxette”
to start a thread like this if you wanted to and thought you could do better.
You will be surprised of the results it seems to me...

Pearls of Passion, Look Sharp, Joyride, Tourism, Crash, Boom, Bang, Have a nice day, Room Service... that makes a total of 7 studioalbums. ( NOT counting the compilation, re-release and remixalbums. Baladas for me... are a kind of remix... since they are just remakes of songs that already exist in thiir original versions )

Golden Times. Per once said that they chose the name because “it’s so damn golden times in sweden right now.”

Fan-s are fan-atic. I do not consider myself as a fan. I am not interested in all those lousy details of Per or Marie’s private life.
I consider myself as a Roxologist, i.e. someone who really knows a lot about the artists’s music, lyrics, instruments used. That’s in my point of view much more important than knowing at what time Per got stuck in the toilet of the abbey road studio’s when shitting on the same toilet as Ringo did 25 years before (unfortunetaly the toiletsplashing still didn’t function)

In Sweden as you can read in this survey http://www.ined.fr/englishversion/publications/pop_et_soc/pesa367%20.pdf most women take their husband’s name alone (87%) or their husband’s name + her name (7%). So there is a big chance that Ms. Fredriksson is not called as all the fans thinks she is. Anyone knows for sure?.
2.- Svenska / Swedish / Sueco / Svedese / Suedois... ok ok :D
3.- “Complete” means Tourism is not included. Pearls Of Passion, Look Sharp, Joyride, Crash Boom Bang, Have A Nice Day and Room Service make 6 albums.
4.- “Golden times”. I read somewhere that the band was called like that after a song written by Per and Mats or Per alone. Any information on this?
5.- Tits & Ass Studio or (as Per says) T&A Studio so that people don’t think he’s a degenerated. :D
6.- A single, almost always, has two sides, A & B. So the length of Roxette’s first one was 7 minutes and 28 seconds.

8.- With “the roxette’s” I mean Marie and Per, so it was “Ingenting av vad du behöver” in 1981.
9.- I guess Europeans didn’t have many problems with this one... it was a matter of looking at the clock, but for other it could have been more tricky. now is 22:03

- The first issue included Love mix as b-side, isn’t it? So that is the 1st Roxette single.
- The first song the Roxette members recorded together was “Ingenting av vad du behöver” and there is not a single doubt about that.
- No one mentioned that being married Marie could have a different name. No one mentioned Bolyos as surname.
By the way, have you ever done an exam? In exams questions are always like this, you have to choose the best one, and the best ones are these... or are you gonna question that too?
