I really love this song, both the original and the demo version.Marie´s voice and the sax makes me calm down when i´m angry just as the piano in the demo does. is there any other rox song that makes you feel sth of the sort? (or should i say: is there a better place to be?)

Per said that the song is for Gabbe in interviews ,and you can read it in the booklet of Hand too.

Is that a real question or you just want the answers that you want to read?

In my opinion “I was so lucky” are one of the best songs ever. Especially the demo... I get goosebumps when I hear Per singing this song!

The demo isn’t that great...Isn’t Per going a little out of tune there? :)

This is the song I skip the most on HAND, BUT this is the song I listen to most out of all the hand demo’s, think the demo version is MUCH better than the Album version plus, if they went to studio with per singing that song it would have been up there as one of my fav’s

’I Was So Lucky’ is fantastic! It’s one of my 14 favorites on HAND! ;) The whole arrangement and production is just stunning. I especially love the climax of the song after the sax solo. That part is just brilliant in which Marie’s vocals and the arrangement just create this amazing feeling!

I think it´s the most beautiful song of Per.
Because it´s for Gabbe.
