There’s a big Per interwiev on Finnish newspaper Iltalehti. Per says hi’s againt the Iraq war and he thinks the war is sick, totallu madness. He also says that Roxette goes back to studio next summer, maybe.

No off course they don’t mean this summer. They made two albums after each other, and two compilations, marie had a tumour, and maybe they are going to slow down a bit now...
Per is writing new songs, marie is still resting....
So i think they mean summer 2004

We don’t wanna start to have topics handling subjects like “What’s Roxette’s forthcoming last album will sound like...?”, “What’s the last track on the last album gonna be like?”, “Will they release all the songs from the last album as singles - as that’d be awesome?” Although, as a matter of a fact, that it really would be. But that’s not gonna happen until two thousand and...twenty-eight or so...

No, they can’t as much as I love Roxette and want a new album so much Marie needs to rest fully for a good 12 months or so!!
We have all the oldies to listen to tell then + we hopefully will get a GT tour next summer!!!

So in English it means: If Marie’s healing goes as fast as so far, the studio maybe invite this summer.

”War is not the right solution”
At Emi’s office in Stocholm is Per Gessle, who gives only a few interviews for European’s reporters.
There has been a lot of rumours around the band since a tumour was found from Marie Fredriksson last autumn.
-Her illness felt like the end of the world was near. Whole tour and all the plans for the rest of the year were cancelled just in one day, says Gessle.
Swedish afternoon paper Expressen circulated wrong information about Marie’s condition.
-Nowadays magazines are searching for hard headlines and rumours with wrong grounds. Humaness has lost of journalism and papers are trying to get maximum profit of the stories they publish. Marie was sad about magazine’s publications. This case took very much strength from her, but luckily justice won.
-Thank God her healing has been surprising fast. Now she feels very well. She has got support from her family and friends. In my opinion it has helped her recovering, tells Gessle about Marie’s latest news.
Many popstars have already rised up against USA’s operations. Also Gessle wilingly tells his opinion about Iraq’s war, which weighs on his mind.
-This unreasonable, mindless war! This reflects it, how words and speeches are not enough any more. It’s a pity, that the solution is seeked by military operations. I think the war is not the right solution, so this thing could have been passed by. USA did a too precipitate decision, when it proclaimed war on Iraq.
He won’t write any peace songs for George Bush or Saddam Hussein.
-We are not in the 80’s any more, so peace songs won’t solve the situation. Musicians and lyrics have had power until this, but now everything like it
seems to be very useless.
In Sweden there are many rumours about Gyllene Tider’s possible comeback this summer.
-In a way it’s true, because the band has 25th anniversary in those days. Many old band mates have asked us for a tour but we don’t want to do
it left-handed. If Gyllene Tider does a comeback, tour and hits must succeed perfectly.
Now, when the spring is coming, brought Roxette out another collection cd. It’s called The Pop Hits. There are some new songs on the record, and Marie
took part in singing too.
-It’s very boring and lonely to be at studio alone, without Marie. For my big surprise she came with me to sing the new songs.
There are already new, unrecorded Roxette songs, but it’s not the right time for them yet. New studio album will be published at the earliest in four years.
-A world tour is not coming, because health is more important than doing gigs. If Marie’s healing goes on as fast as so far, the studio may invite this summer. Maybe Gyllene Tider will reach markets first. Let’s see, what happens.

recording from summer 2004 to summer 2005, mixing mastering, an album will be out in the beginnig of 2006 aaaand it will be the last album - contract to 2007 :/
