Do you like football, see a match, play it, or just a fan from a team ?
I’m a fan of F.C Barcelona.
Close2U said on March 21, 2003 15:34:
Fan of PSV Eindhoven, as I live in Eindhoven...and that is in the Netherlands of course.
bye

Anyone loves “Championship Manager”series?? The pc game that is.........
Majdy said on March 21, 2003 16:07:
I don’t understand why people like football. I mean, when u play it, you have to try hard to catch the ball. but when u finally have the ball, you kick it again! isn’t that funny? *innocent look*
Vixzter said on March 21, 2003 20:57:
@purple - that programme is damn funny! ;)
anyway .... Tottenham Hotspur fan here. (waits for the laughs)
Hate Arsenal (although they’re good and do have Freddie Ljunberg playing for them) and most certainly can’t stand Manchester Utd!!! If they never win another trophy I’ll be glad!
LittleSpooky said on March 21, 2003 21:19:
Whups... I’m thinkin NFL (National Football League). I dig Austrailian Rules Football more.
oshtay said on March 21, 2003 22:08:
I watch Wolverhampton Wanderers (England) every week as I have a season ticket.
Santi said on March 21, 2003 22:15:
Australian football is nice :D To watch, not to play :p Anyway I don’t understand well it either :D
LittleSpooky said on March 22, 2003 09:58:
Ooh... loved to play more than rugby. I could never get my sorry butt out of the “scrimmage group” in rugby. However, I had some wicked hand passes in ARF and learned how to “dribble” the ball quite well. :o)

HAHAHAA...Ferdan...what a shame!
Well, not exactly a shame, but almost...Paysandu defeated Boca Juniors in its own home!! Hahaha!!
Two years ago, Paysandu was in 2nd division of Brazilian Football...
You should watch the 2nd match...they have a beautiful stadium...
BTW, Paysandu’s nickname here in Brazil it is Papão, what means something like Eating Monster...BWAHAHAHAHAHA (Vincent Price’s laugh)
My team, Corinthians, will play against River Plate, May 1st...don’t forget it...I hope it won’t be a shame, too...how is that D’Alessandro like? Is him a good player? I only know Arce and Amelli, coz they played here in Brazil.
And Vixzter...just a word, just a loooong word:
RONALDO, RONALDO, RONALDOOOOOOOOOO...
Vixzter said on April 25, 2003 16:23:
Thats not a word its a name! and its not very long either :P
Anyway.....he got a hat-trick against Man Utd the other night which was bloody fantastic! :P
I hope David Beckham goes to Real Madrid! ;) maybe he’d be appreciated by their manager more than he is now.
Still won’t be supporting Brazil in future internationals (funnily enough because I’m not Brazlian).....they’re like the Man Utd of world football.......its easy to support winners! :P
*waits for flames*

I like AJAX most.
They almost made it against AC Milan, but even though they did not make it, they have performed well.
In European games I am always supporting the dutch teams, no matter if it is Ajax, Feyenoord or PSV or an other team.
Roxrider_USA said on April 25, 2003 17:14:
I’m a Flamengo fan in Brazil. This sunday Flamengo plays Corinthians in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
I saw Paysandu’s gol yeaterday. It was a nice gol.
All the brazilian clubs passed to the round of 16 in the Libertadores.
Take care!
Carlos E., New York.

sorry Vix, Im an arsenal supporter of 7 years now. almost half my life! ;) Im not into them as much as I used to and support my local a lot more aswell *GO BRIGHTON* hehe, I think we’re just about to go back down to division 2 though. Grrrrrr!
Vixzter said on April 25, 2003 18:38:
@zaine: I’ll let you off, I like anyone but Man Utd ;) I even support my local team....Oxford Utd *ROFLOL*
zaine said on April 25, 2003 18:51:
oxford aren’t doin too bad this season though.
It’s my poor Brighton that suck
We got out of division 2 last season into divison one. We didn’t get any higher than bottom 5. Now we have one game left and who ever loses goes to relegation. D’oh!
ally77 said on April 25, 2003 20:19:
Not a big footie fan but I guess in a way I like my home team Bolton Wanderers (who just so happen to be playing Arsenal tomorrow and who have the sexy Freddie Ljunberg playing for them - I got tickets!)
Also hatr Man Utd, but think David Beckham is cute! also like Liverpool as my family all live there!
Ferdan said on April 26, 2003 18:44:
well, Boca has more bets on the local league more than in the Libertadores... so it’s not surprising that we lost.... anyway -> :(
zaine said on April 26, 2003 18:57:
@Vixzter: lol, explain! I am confuzzled now!
@Ally77: Bolton did well today. it was 2v2 final result so good for them! Arsenal only 2 points behind UTD now with 3 games to play.
Brighton played Watford and we thrashed them 4v0! It was a real cool match, but basketball is the best to watch.
Vixzter said on April 28, 2003 05:08:
@zaine: They’re crap basicaly ;) they loose to teams lower than them and then beat teams above them. They lost again saturday.
Tottenham lost!!!! to those *&$^&%&^% from Manchester, might aswell of handed them the title.
zaine said on April 28, 2003 18:05:
lol, doesn’t that happen with all the teams though? Even the descent teams at the top seem to loose to all the crappy ones but we only hear when they loose to each other. Stay local, is my advice ;) hehe
tinytim said on April 30, 2003 16:41:
Yeah, Roxrider...Flamengo it’s a hard bone, even without 5 players...but it’s OK...the whole Corinthians supporter staff (Gaviões da Fiel - trnsl.: The Loyal Supporters Hawks) sang all the match long:Li-ber-ta-dores! Li-ber-ta-dores!...It’s very clear that Corinthians fans are up to see Corinthians winning Libertadores, lot more than the Brazilian (now) League.
But man...I’m starting to hate those Argentinian newspapers...specially that darn Olé...they said a lot of stupidities about Brazil during the World Cup, and now they’re saying about Corinthians...I’m looking forward tom see Gil twisting Amelli’s hips...hehehehe...
To all europeans in here...pay attention to Brazil’s match today...specially to two players...Robinho and Diego...they’re awesome.
