It Must Have Been Love (Tourism)

Is it possible to get a copy of IMHBL (the tourism version) without the live bit at the start?
Chester said on March 21, 2003 09:20:
I like the live bit too. But i want a version without. I prefer it to the original.

No sorry, cant u do it online somehow? Play the song and start recording it after the live is over?

If I get time some day, I’ll edit out the live part for you.

I have it (without the live part). I edit the song some years ago!! :)
I can send it to you if you want!

I love the live bit the best too! The fans just go totally nuts! Turn up your musci as loud as you can and close your eyes, you will think you are at the concert yourself! Seriously, try it, it made me cry ones! ;-)

The Live-ism version of IMHBL is the b-side of a single. I forget which right now, but I think it’s How Do You Do!.
DeLuk said on March 21, 2003 16:16:
Yep, “Queen Of Rain” it is. “How Do You Do!” has “Fading Like A Flower”, actually. :)
Yet, a side note (perhaps relevant?), to say the recording of “It Must Have Been Love” on “Queen Of Rain” isn’t as complete as the actual one on “Live-Ism”, as it (IMHO unfortunately) misses the intro, with Marie on the keyboard, singing solo, and then the audience screaming along... Ah, I just love these parts on “It Must Have Been Love” live... :) *sigh*
tevensso (moderator) said on March 21, 2003 19:55:
True, but if you stitch them together, like I did, it’s complete! :)

If I recall, the MTV Unplugged version of “IMHBL” is basically the ’country’ version on “Tourism” without the intro... is this close enough? By the way, I think the live version from Sydney is possibly the best live song ever recorded... Marie and Per’s duet at the end is incomparable.

Has anyone seen In concert’91? they played the look, FLAF and IMHBL from a Las Angeles show, and the version of IMHBL was great i thought, similar to the sydney version but marie sings right through to the end. if anyone wants a listen might be able to upload it somewhere

I think the country version of IMHBL from Tourism is even better than the one from Pretty Woman. It’s more...laid-back. :)

if anyone wants to listen to IMHBL from las angeles try out this link http://home.austarnet.com.au/robtony/concert91/it must have been love - in concert 91.mp3

I remember that series ’In Concert ’91’ being shown late at night. I just recorded it every week thinking “they might be on, but I doubt it” What a surprise it was when they did show Roxette live in the USA! I like hows its just a small music hall than just another big arena. They’re nice recordings, mine’s in mono too I think.
Markuz said on March 23, 2003 04:03:
Wow I just love that live version, Marie sings very very well on that one.
Does anybody have more tracks from that gig?
RobS said on March 23, 2003 10:34:
@imazombie... i was quite lucky to find out about it, i was reading the tv guide that night and stumbled across it, and taped it, and loved it. :) i was really hoping there would be more but it never happend :(

Just download a program like Soundforge or Cooledit.....you can easily edit songs, and cut out whole sections of the song.
