Roxette Chart Placings from Norway?

Does somebody know Roxette’s chart placings (Singles and albums) in Norway?
animalkingdom said on March 10, 2003 16:47:
Some of those positions above are definitely false. The Centre Of The Heart did NOT make it to the top-10...Neither did Wish I Could Fly (it was no. 13 if I remember right). DBU got higher than no. 20.
I am not Norwegian but I have been following the charts rather carefully since the first GH came out.

I may be wrong about Greatest hits but The Centre Of The Heart did make it to nr. 5. Wish I Could Fly I have heard 3 different versions of: nr. 1, nr. 2 and nr. 14. Don´t know wich one to believe.

No no no no...I do not think TCOTH got into the top-20. Are you sure you’re talking about the sales charts? I am quite positive about WICF peaking at no. 13 (sales-wise).

I know that The Centre Of The Heart was nr. 5 on the official VG-list but on sales chart I don´t know.

...Aren’t the sales charts the official ones? How I like those dots ;) ...

On this page http://lista.vg.no/ you are able to search through all the official sale chart history in Norway. Just enter Roxette (or Gyllene Tider, Fredriksson, Gessle) in the search box at the upper right side and press “søk”.
This is really a great service provided by the newspaper VG. I just wish this where possible in other countries.

Yes it is really a cool site. Not only can you search by artist but also by date or time period. Guess who had the most popular single in the hole year 1990?
animalkingdom said on March 11, 2003 12:01:
Okay, let’s clear the table :)
Ketil, thanks for pointing out that site, went & grabbed the positions for Ingo then:
01 The Look
01 It Must Have Been Love
01 Joyride
04 Fading Like A Flower
01 How Do You Do!
06 Almost Unreal
03 Sleeping In My Car
13 Wish I Could Fly
11 Stars
01 Look Sharp!
01 Joyride
01 Tourism
06 Crash! Boom! Bang!
14 Don’t Bore Us
06 Have A Nice Day
07 Room Service
08 The Ballad Hits
I guess someone mixed up sales & airplay (yet again, what a trend!).
What’s really strange is that just one single from LS charted...And that Crash! Boom! Bang! could be considered as a relative flop.
Per made also a minor mistake when looking back at Roxette’s chart history in the DBU booklet: he said Almost Unreal charted best in the UK! But as we can see it climbed all the way to no. 6 in Norway (UK #7, Swe #8).

@ Roxoholic
The above positions are taken from a site that’s called “VG-Lista, Norges offisielle hitliste”.
@ Ketil
www.swisscharts.com also provides a service like that.

@animal
The official list until the mid 90s where only a top 10 (now it’s a top 20). That might be the reason why only The Look charted from LS. It still a bit strange though since Roxette where very popular those days.
Further things to notice on the Norwegian chart is that Roxette had a #1 four years in a row (89-92). It is very few artists that have achived this before them (only the Beatles I think).
I think also Norway was the first country outside Sweden for Gessle to go #1. Gyllene Tider was #1 with “När vi två blir en” in 1981.

Well, let´s see if I can remember: The Look & Joyride & How Do You Do & It Must Have Been Love & Fading Like A Flower was nr. 1. Sleeping In My Car was nr. 3. Almost Unreal was nr. 6. Crash Boom Bang (I think) was nr. 12. Spending My Time (I think) was nr. 13. Wish I Could Fly was nr. 2. Anyone was nr. 17, The Centre Of The Heart was nr. 5, Real Sugar was nr. 24 (I think). A Thing About You didn´t even make the top 40. and I don´t know the rest.
As for albums: Look Sharp & Joyride & Tourism was nr. 1, Crash Boom Bang was nr. 4, Greatest Hits was nr. 20, Have A Nice Day was nr. 6, Room Service was nr. 7 and Ballad Hits was nr. 8.
