The Finnish charts where the following positions are from became official just in 1994 so there are no placings before that (not that I’d really know of them, anyway: whoops...Joyride was actually a #1 album here):

Thanks a lot. But I think the charts existed also before 1994, because I got the finnish chart position of ABBA and they are from 1974-1982.

Yep, there was a chart compiled before that. First it was only monthly, I think, and then every week. Anyway, it didn’t really reflect the tastes of the entire Finnish people since it was only compiled from some 30 record stores. Nowadays the charts are correct by over 80%.

Well, yea, but there are only 5 M people here. Anyway, the gold & platinum limits are very high in Finland. For instance, if we change those figures British (hope you know what I am trying to say) HAND would have sold platinum.
