I like his style much more than Jonas. Jonas and his solos bore me sometimes. But the arpeggios like in Billy or Vandrar i ett sommarregn are just great. I simply like MP more than Jonas :)

@ Sure, Santi. Don’t get me wrong. It’s just that no one ever mentions anything about MP playing the guitar. It’s always been (and it always probably will be) Jonas who remains as the king (in the general opinion). As a matter of a fact, I myself can only imagine Persson behind his drums and percussions... :-)

I thought MP was the guitar player and co-composer of Gyllene Tider. The percussionist is another Mats Persson that has nothing to do with him. You know... this Swedes have all the same names (just remember Micke Andersson!! There was one in GT and another in Roxette!! Also guitar player and drummer :D)
Per refers to Mats MP Persson as his long time friend from Gyllene Tider.

but MP of GT is co-writer of most roxette-songs and he produces most of the roxette and per-solo demos.
also IWBYB and the other stuff of per´s ramones covers.
and MP plays drums in the local band “back on stage”.
...and he´s really nice =:))
