Yes, you´re right. Look for example Dutch-born Dance diva Amber´s official site; she really cares about her fans and updates her site often. She even answers fan´s questions every day.

You’re right, that site really sucks. All the big artists have a decent, extensive website, except Roxette. Sweden is one of the most internet-minded countries in the world but it seems Roxette and EMI Sweden have an other attitude.
