Where are you from?
I tell you because to broadcast music in a tv ad you need permission from the owners of the copyright and the recorded work. So that pharmaceutical company I’m almost sure has asked Roxette and/or Capitol Records to use that music, otherwise it’s an ilegal use of the music and they would be sued by Roxette’s lawyers. (Funny, your nickname is “lawyer” and you don’t know this? :D)
Or at least they would ask the broadcasting association of that country. Mr. Gessle is supposed to get cash any time that ad is on air. :)

Mainly Per Gessle, ’cos he wrote the song... and then roxette a little less I think. I don’t know exactly, it might change from country to country.

Yeah, I said Gessle because royalties for the songwriters use to be the higher...

generally ad’s time are bought in packages, so if you listened to it in certain time of the day, for sure it’s gonna be repeated a few days around the same hour or same program...
is it that hard to search it and record it?
