Like I said in the comments, I think the #11 spot for “TBH” will probably mean UK shops are going to have a lot more copies so that people can find it easily : if it’s a Top 20 album then records shops will suddenly have an interest for it to be available. That means maybe Roxette will be cracking the Top 10 next week.
If it happens, I think EMI UK should consider re-releasing “A Thing About You” with decent promotion and number of copies this time. Or maybe they should release “Opportunity Nox” earlier to surf on that current success. That would guarantee a fairly successfull release for “The Pop Hits”.
That’s for the immediate future.
As for the rest, I think Marie’s gonna get well and both her and Per will start writing a brilliant album which is going to be the peak of their career.
That’s all I wish for them...

see zee, predicting is different than planing with all the possibilities in mind. In my rude way i wanted to say that...

Well, if “Ballad Hits” breaks the Top Ten next week, maybe EMI should consider releasing “Breathe” as a single. I imagine it could draw more attention if the album itself is in the Top Ten.

Wouldn’t it be weird (and great) to see Roxette release a “UK only” single ???
“Breathe” would be a decent single I guess...

@Ferdan: :)
Yes releasing BREATHE as a U.K. single is a brilliant idea! But I guess TOP 10 is very important right now. If roxette could make it to say #9 then it would BRILLIANT! I am sure EMI would do something about it cuz this time they are and should be smelling some money in return of their promotion!

er, no. I very much doubt that it’ll get any higher. I think that it only got as high as it did because of valentines day. Now that is over, I think sales will drop. Although I have got a whole load of my mates into it and they’re cosidering finding and buying it. The single was crap because it was released AFTER the album. This meant that people already had the song and didn’t need it agian, even with the bonus tracks. Even I couldn’t find a single yet and I’ve been in everyday searching the shelves. But i’m going down to Brighton soon, so should be able to buy it then!!!
I hope that they keep producing stuff, and more albums for a while yet, as i hope they will tour so I can see them live.

I struggled to find The Ballad Hits in town today. Not in the HMV chart or WH Smiths!
