No they are talking about the background of “it went like this”...Marie is saying something (not very clear in my ears)

Does anyone know what Marie says in the song Fireworks just before the chorus?? Been wondering for awhile....

hehe to my non english ears it sound like “pleased to meet you” :P

“and it went like this” ?

“nice to meet you”

indeed something with ’to meet you’ what they say before definitely isn’t ’nice’

I discovered sth. else in fireworks. It’s at the very end of the song. Listen to it as loud as you can and maybe you hear somebody saying (don’t know who it is) something like “Gott ist tot” (God is dead).
I’m not joking, that’s what I understand. I first heard it when I watched the video of fireworks on the DVD and I keep hearing this. Am I wrong? I don’t know, maybe you can hear something else.
Maybe it’s the “nice to meet you” which sounds like Gott ist tot?

mmhh...it can’t be Gott ist tot. maybe something in swedish which just sounds similar. it could be “wo bist du”, too, it think, although theres a “t” sound at the end... .let’s forget about it, it’s not worthwhile thinking about it, is it?

Roxfever,

I don’t hear any word at the end of the song.

Why would they say anything in German...? They can’t speak that language...

Maybe Per himself could answer this question! Per, where are you? (-;

I don’t know why they should say anything in German. But I don’t know why not either. Hidden messages for Germany?Well, don’t know...
@pascal, yes, it’s not easy to hear it, “try just a little bit harder”
@kiwein1, you’re right. Per, where are you? Tell us!

Could it maybe be “Glad to meet you”?

@Roxfever: Wow, I can’t believe I never heard that before! Or probably I have but didn’t bother to find out what they’re saying... ;-)

But anyway, I’ve played around a bit and ended up with these snippets (they’re both mono since the talking’s only on the right channel and I could delete the left one, so you can here it better) - I hope someone can hear more than I did!

the ’pleased to meet you’ or whatever it is...sounds too british to be marie LOL as for the other bit.....god knows what that is!
