Jeanette Biedermann steals Roxette-song again

Just wanted to mention that Jeanette’s lastest song called It’s over now seems be te taken from Roxette’s IMHBL. The melody (and the lyrics of course) of the part in which Jeanette sings “it’s over now” equals the part of IMHBL in which Marie sings “but it’s over now”. It’s exactly the same. And as we all know it’s not the first time Jeanette sounds very “Roxetteish”. Don’t know whether you care or not, but I thought it’s worth mentioning it.

I‘m not convinced of it to a 100% because on rtl.de you can only listen to very short part of it. But it realy reminds me of IMBHL. Check roxetteforum.com. People there agree. They are very upset. Me too btw.

Yesterday I saw an report about her new video and first I really couldn’t believe what I heard.
Not only the melody is like IMHBL, no also the lyrics are exactly the same like Rox’s IMHBL.
Of course not the whole song, but the “It’s over now..” part. TSTSTS!
It’s so imbarrassing, first she releases an song which sounds like “The Look” and now again an song which sounds like IMHBL.

This song doesn’t sound at all like IMHBL or any other ROX-Song!!!
I don’t like that so called actress or singer, too, but this song reminds me more of a song called DREAM ON by Nazareth (I think)! Not the Chorus of Dream On the verse!
So wash your feet that the dirt from your ears can slide...! ;-)

But I think this have a little bid Roxette-Touch and all songs have a little bid the Roxette-sound I think she let his inspirence from Roxette, but this not bad, every Popstar do this and let it inspirience from other Stars.

She’s not stealing, there isn’t even a big similarity! She wasn’t stealing with Rock My Heart either, but strongly inspired. At the end it’s not a bad thing for Roxette, it’s promo for free! Also Per’s songwriting has strong influences of his favourite bands.

I have got to agree with Sascha.
This song doesn’t even sound similiar to any Roxette song!! I read this topichere last week and told some friends about that. We all watched the “Echo Award Show”, where Jeanette presented her new song, and everybody laughed at me saying: “This doesn’t sound like any roxette song we ever heard you fool...”
And I had to agree with them.

I’ve downloaded both songs. I dont think it is similar at all. I mean, obviously anything pop-driven with a “na na na na na” in it is going to sound like “The Look”, but the melody is different. I think the whole song is different.
Groove Coverage, on the other hand, the melody is exactly the same.
