ATAY not strong enough for UK / US ?

just to let people know all the radio stations ive contacted say ’a thing about you’ is not strong enough for there playlists. it’s a great song , but i do agree sometimes. i just wonder if ’breathe’ was lead single they would get play, as this song is a softer modern power ballad, me thinks.
i know some arnt gonna agree but hey im to late for release anyway lol.

Anyone who doesn’t believe in Roxette ballad’s attraction is mad.
“Wish I could fly” was a hit and “A thing about you” could definitely be one if only... aaargh...!!!

If the ballad from Christina A. ’Beautiful’ is a hit in the US, there’s no doubt that any single from Roxette will be a hit given the right amount of promotion. It’s nothing about promotion in the US, you can turn any OK ballad into a hit over here, sadly to say.

Opp Nox would be better though ;) but then we can’t have everything.....I hope that if we get TPH here its given just as much promo as TBH is.....but I doubt it.....they’ve probably spent their estimated budget on Rox for this year already ;)
The problem TPH will have is that there won’t be anything to tie in advertising with.

ATAY is a romantic, beautiful, melo song! It will do good. It has to! There is no reason it should not. I believe ATAY is a HELL LOT MORE BETTER than anything on RS (when it comes to ballads). I still don’t understand how people rate MATAH as one of the most beautiful ballads Roxette ever made. MATAH was a very simple song but ATAY is a masterpiece. Great chords, good lyrics with a very easy-to-sing melody. I have said it once and I will say it again.. ATAY IS A TONGUE CAPTURING SONG. I play ATAY in my office and yesterday my project manager who hates Roxette was humming ATAY’s melody and then he said “HEY YOUR SONGS ARE GETTING ON MY NERVES”. He was not angry but he was rather surprised to see himself humming a song of a band he doesn’t even likes!
Plus, you have ON coming soon. ON may have one of the most stupid lyrics Per ever wrote but then again it is one of the most chathiest song he ever wrote! ;)
People LOVE ON when u play it. I saw 2 girls go wild last night when I was playing ON and they couldn’t stop BANGGING their heads as if I was playing Metallica or Nirvana.
GOOD time is coming for Roxette (I hope) and ATAY has the potential to become the song which will atleast bring back attention to Roxette and people will know that THEY ARE ALIVE AND KICKING!!!!
