(Do You Get) Excited?

I have always wanted to know why a promo video was made for this song.
The only reason I can think of is that it was intended as sixth single release from the album Joyride. Does anyone know for sure?

Buy the Roxette DVD, it is cheap and it has almost all the videos

Always loved this song, and the video - I agree, Marie looks AMAZING in this!

Is she topless in this video? I don’t mean to sound like a pervert but there’s a very brief clip where she’s standing in the desert with her back to us and she appears to be naked!
Am I seeing things?
Brian said on February 12, 2003 09:14:
Yes she is topless in that video...
she is hot in that video, she is a sex bomb!
You can basically see her complete boobs! Even her niples through this white satin thingy she is wearing... mmh..

I think Marie looks super sexy in that video. She’s a great singer, but also extremely beautiful (and hot...) woman!

wish that was still released before COYH . its great song video is WOW 8-))

I once read somewhere “Knocking On Every Door” was supposed to become the 5th single from the Joyride album but than they changed it to COYH, so why did they made this DYGE video then? They really must have been doubting about witch one to be the next single??

(Do You Get) Excited when you watching the video?
yeeeeeeeeeeesssss
it’s a perfect–Marie is not so naked like todays “sex bombs” but you can see the bewitching sense of woman in every move she makes ,you can feel it in every Marie’s breath .....
she is the one...that makes the waves in the minds..:-)

Amazing video........Amazing song! It should have been released as a single :(
My fav video of all time......I wonder why?? hehe
Speedrazor said on April 24, 2003 08:55:
Hi all....
In my opinion the Single of DYGE was released in South America....yeah it is right that the Song was supposed to be the fifth Single but finally COYH made it.

Roxreporter is also right :) I read that somewhere too. I think Per said it. Even thought the book says otherwise, I reckon the 5th single was a toss up between KOED and COYH, and DYGE would of been the 6th single if COYH performed well, which it didn’t. Someone ask Per! :P

I think that what’s great about Marie’s behavior on stage, She wonderfully blends Her gigantic sexual charisma with a true class and elegance. And She’s pretty brave too as regards to choosing Her outfits. If You remember Her costume from J Tour, it was pretty much revealing and...ehem...looked like She wasn’t wearing anything under it. 1000 times hotter than Trinity’s (Matrix anyone?) attire!
And bare in mind it was 1992 (more puritan times)
zeeshan said on April 28, 2003 11:01:
Trinity of Matrix? She didn’t wear any exposing cloths or mmm did I miss something? :D
kerA said on April 28, 2003 17:16:
It’s not about exposing, but it’s about an outfit as a “mold” for statuesque body.

Knockin’ On Every Door was always one of my early favourites from Joyride, however no one seems to have said they liked COYH - I think it’s a really good song.
kerA said on April 29, 2003 15:06:
Knockin’ is a great song and it’s concert version (with great Marie’s intro) is better than original.

Well nice video, indeed, the song is nice 2
But Church of my Heart is also a great song, I wonder why it didn’t make it up the charts (did it?...)
jobarth said on February 10, 2003 16:15:
(Do You Get) Excited? was supposed to become the fifth single from the album Joyride but it was instead replaced with Church of your heart.
It’s written in “The Look For Roxette - Discography”
