When I’m walking in the street at the morning everyone should feel that I have a great joy in my heart and I can not deny no one will say * Happy birthday Aaso!* till afternoon. Sometimes it breaks me. (It’s really important for me) {what can I do some one plz tell me}
Then whatever happens in the evening or at the night party can not satisfy me!
Is there anyone feeling like me or its just my stupid thoughts...
PS: I always forget my best friends Birthdays!!

I don’t celebrate my birthday. for me that day is absolutely nothing special, and people who don’t know me at all go and congratulate me... bleesh. well, the sincere wishes by people close to me aren’t bad.
(once I had (e-)mailbox which congratulated me on my birthdays... god, I find that soo annoying! so, I wrote the absurd date of 30 february /it allowed me to/ and it hasn’t worried me since. however, I can’t remember which mail right now... if I do, I’ll post it specially for you , Aaso... )

And it’s always my mom who forces me to have a party. I like my friends to remember my birthday. Isn’t it fair?

thats an issue u need to look into..if u re good with who u are u feel good everyday not only in ur birthday...and if ur friends love u they remember you everyday not only in ur birthday

A week before my birthday my best friends would joke about it, which would remind me it’s my birthday. Sometimes I’m so busy I forget my birthday.
They would say something like “guess what ??? ... it’s Juliet/James/Drusilla/Spike (one of those names)’s birthday next week” and I would know they meant me.
For me, sometimes I feel that birthdays and christmas is a painful reminder that a year has gone by and I haven’t accomplished anything. Which makes me so sad. But I just finished university this year and I’m graduating in April so I guess from this year on I could look forward to something new.
This year is also the year of a Goat (my year sign) so maybe it’s double the luck. (Wishfull thinking).
Anyway, does anyone here share the same birthday as Per or Marie??? My b-day is 20th of May, which is 10 days before Marie.

I don’t know anyone with same b-day as Per or Marie, but this is even stranger... My baby cousin is called Gabrielle, and he was born on exactly the same day as Per’s Gabbe! It is so freaky, ’cos my aunt and uncle don’t really know roxette. it wasn’t planned, it just happened! lucky little kid!!!

I always feel sad on my birthday. I dunno why though. I just wish I’d never age. I miss my childhood, you know. For the past 3 years, I’ve been spending the nights of 24th and 25th in the lab studying for exams and doing projects. I HATE THAT. I remember my grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins would all get together to celebrate my birthday as everyone in my family adored me in a totally weird way. (My grandfather had a heart attack on my 1st birthday and passed away just cause he was over-excited!) I miss those days so much. More than anything I have ever lost.
I do believe age is just a number but numbers increase; one day you open your eyes and realize those you loved once are gone. It hurts. That’s why I don’t like my birthdays.
Growing up happens in a heartbeat.
One day you’re in diapers...
Next day you’re gone. But the memories of childhood...stay with you for the long haul.
I remember a place...a town...a house...like a lot of other houses. A yard like a lot of other yards...on a street like a lot of other streets.
And the thing is...after all these years, I still look back...with wonder.

Sometimes I feel older than I am, sometimes younger. Although I can’t imagine me as a mature woman having a husband and children. When I was a child I thought a 50-yeared person was definitely old. Now looking at my parents and other people I see that one can stay young in soul regardless of age.
