I did not know them, but the site does not look friendly to me. I did not read it all, but I saw some parts I did not like, so I agree with you.

I got scared with the first 2 images i saw, so i didnt read, sorry I am very “sensitive” with this stuff, it makes me so scared, and i hate being scared :/

I don’t believe it. I know about this people but I don’t believe this is one of their sites. This is to make a bad image of them, someone who hates them. They have been prosecuted by many governments and Church related stuff over the years.
I won’t say I like them because I don’t like all this stuff, but this is not right...

I have to post here because my grandfather was a Mason in good standing until the day he died. Masons were Doctors, Lawyers, Masons (bricklayers), Farmers, Blacksmiths and so on and so on and so forth. Back when the US was being settled (let’s go 1700s and forward), these men helped to build houses for their community. They treated the sick and infirm, represented those accused of a crime, shod horses and did the metal working for wagon wheels, and helped people start their own farms.
The wives of these men are known as Eastern Stars. They helped make clothes, drapes, quilts, food and the like for the new people moving into the townships.
The sons are known as Demolays (spelling, I’m sure). They helped their fathers as apprentices of the trade that fathers practiced. Or they learned a new trade from a neighbour.
The daughters are known as Job’s Daughters, and they assisted their mothers in the quilt making and whatever else. I was a Job’s Daughter for several years before I had to leave due to personal reasons and the general health of my family. I became a Job’s Daughter on the standing of my Grandfather.
SOME of the Masons are irreputable. Just like SOME Catholics, Baptists, Mormons, Bhuddists, Muslims, and so on. I am offended by this site because it doesn’t appear that the person has RESEARCHED this information very well. They did NOT talk to those involved in this. Every Mason I know is VERY religious and practices their particular faith.
Stop the lies and hatred now, before it gets worse.
Thank you.

mmm this with the Masons back in 1700 sounds ok, but what are they doing now?
Sorry never heard of and the first impression was scary so I didn’t go on reading neither looked for something else on the net.

Judith: When I was in attendance in 1990 - 1993, we (Job’s Daughters) did fundraisers, helped out those that are less fortunate (we did things like Sub For Santa and got gifts for families and so on) and TONS of community projects.
I cannot speak for the Masons directly, because like all religions, there are some things that are kept private.
And in case anyone is wondering, the Job’s Daughters are named after Job in the Bible. *IF* you are curious, read The Book of Job. It tells about a man who’s Faith and Belief in God was tested by God repeatedly. (DO NOT HAMMER ME FOR PROMOTING A FAITH!!! I’m not. Just imparting my knowledge to those who are curious. Thank you.)

...this is definitely an exaggeration!
since i’ve been to a freemasonry exposition, i can say that - as far as i got to know there - they’re NOT DANGEROUS! many of germany’s best-known writers/personalities (Schiller, Goethe... and even britain’s Flemming who “invented” Penicillin) have been freemasons or been in contact with those organisations.
but i admit that there is a possibility, that some of them might be a bit dangerous, but i think its just gossip as always.
Markuz said on February 5, 2003 17:38:
Are you serious vaxjoe? Come on, don’t be THAT naive.
Who are the ones spreading all those stupid rumors about the Masons??? Well, Catholic Church and other organized religions, of course. Why? Because they fight everything that makes them weaker.
Have you ever wondered why nearly all chuches are against television, science and the internet? Well, because it makes people THINK.
OMG, how hard is to make a point without being sarcastic...

FREEMASONS!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!! (hides under bed with stack of sticky porn mags)
Anarem said on February 6, 2003 01:10:
I’ve seen this all before– racists, Nazis and extreme right wingers use this same type of paranoid rhetoric; only instead of saying “Freemason”, they substitute the word “Jew”.
You have to question the motives of a person who would run a site that slanders a whole group of people. It’s propaganda, pure and simple. Don’t be fooled by it.
LittleSpooky said on February 6, 2003 04:18:
Vax: It was a very valid wonderment. Since I had contact with this group in the past, I thought I would share the information with you that I was able to. I’m sorry if it got out of hand
*wanders over and smacks Markuz in the back of the head* Be nice...

@Anarem: Actually Nazis and other right-wing goverments (for example Spanish Franco from 1940 to 1975) hated them and Masons were persecuted and banned when they were in the power.
Anarem said on February 8, 2003 00:59:
@Santi:
Well, those Nazi guys hated *everybody* who wasn’t a blue-eyed blonde Aryan. :-) I hope they’re all rotting in Hell. :-)
Anarem said on February 8, 2003 01:09:
@vaxjoe:
You seem like a good guy, just like most people on this forum are. Sure there are a couple of people out there who seem like jerks, but that’s just like in real life, isn’t it? It’s just that religion, like politics, is always a touchy subject, no matter where you discuss it.
LittleSpooky said on February 8, 2003 03:31:
The ironic thing about the Nazis... their leader was a 5’5” brown haired / eyed midget of sorts (compared to the soldiers etc)
hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmm
Vax: mwah... love yas babe :o)
