Who else finds this song really similar to the song Uptown girl by Billy Joel (and recently covered by westlife)??????
The first melody, and vocal arrangements and rythm are almost the same.

Are we gonna grab all the songs and blame Roxette for every similiarity there might be with another artist’s song and say it’s a copy and therefore they should be blammed for that? For one tiny litle detail! ??? This things about who’s copying whom is a bit out og hand and it’s becoming not really that funny. SIMC was no copy of Jenny and I and and it’s natural that we find bits and pieces of melodies on other songs as well ....that happens to everyone almost. Now intended copies unauthorozed now that’s a bit problem and that is what we should be worried. That was what happended with GC by trying to copy Jefferson...they published the single and were caught.
Anyway as long as music maintaines a good quality and comes trully from its composer or artists it’s all that matters to me...
We’re wasting our time with small wars around the world of music bussiness....

The latest part of a swedish tv program for kids called Rea was about stealing songs.
One of the examples was Listen to your heart-What about love by Heart.
(They showed a live version from ‘88.Per had a sleeveless black shirt .He has such a lovely arms.... :)
