Hi guys!!!
The other day I was a little bit bored and decided to look for some of the Gessle/Fredriksson songs that are mentioned on “The look for Roxette” on Kazaa. There I found the song “Oh, Marie”, sung by Roxette. Do you know the story of this song? When was it released? It’s a nice tune so don’t understand why it has not been included in any album.
By the way, ON is supppppppeeeeerrrrrrbbbbb!!!

It’s a song by Sheryl Crow and it was included on an album made for Marie Dimberg and that song was the one included by Roxette on that album. Only a few copies where made.
Do you remember a version made from The Look for Roffe Nygren? well, this is the same “lp-present” thing.
Ernes.

Thanx for your answers. Didn’t have the slightest idea that the song was one of Sheryl.
How luck Dimberg and Nygren are for receiving such a present.
Would be nice if Roxette made an album dedicated to all of us (fans). Not a greatest hits but a cover thing, with all time favourites. Yeah, that would be nice.

Yes, it was on the album Absolute Marie Dimberg “released” in 1997. IE it was given to the guests at her farewell party when she left EMI. The UPC is her birthdate. :)

I think the song ’Oh Marie’ was a song by Sheryl Crow but Per Gessle rewrote the lyrics. They dedicated the song to their manager Marie Dimberg.
