I have all origonal CD’s, a very few CD-R’s and this is because if I like the whole album I want the original and if I like just a few songs I go for the MP3 files and I don’t bother buying the album at all. If could I would pay for those MP3’s I like a lot instead of buying the whole thing...

21 original CDs, 9 singles, 56 Audio CD-Rs (the most of them are Rox-related : concerts, 1 ballad compilation, 2 demos CDs, etc. ), around 20 GB of mp3s, that’s it.
and about TBH copy-protoection - I don’t listen to Audio CDs on my PC, I usually make mp3s (on that one I even didn’t need to make them myself, as the songs were uploaded on the i-net long before i had the CD ;) , so I don’t have probs, neither on my stereo... but this whole copy-protection thingie was quite stupid, it even didn’t worked...

Last time I counted (which was about a year and a half ago), I had over 1,200 CDs. But since I’ve bought fewer and fewer CDs since then, it probably hasn’t grown that significantly. I would have to guess at least 1,300 CDs. I may just have to count now.

Music CD’s my wife and I have got at the moment 648. From those 648, 72 are Roxette CD’s!! ;-) Yay!! My wife always asks why I would need all the singles, as such songs are on the album anyway... but I am just a collector.

Um, I used to have over 3000 CDs, all originals, but as I was in need of cash BIG time, I sold most of them. Now, I have around 800, I don’t have a current amount now, haven’t counted and logged them all completely. AND it always changes, buying new releases and selling the ones I either don’t like, never listen to anymore, or there is an improved version coming out. Still all of mine are originals, I have literally no burns or MP3’s (I prefer to have the artwork), and over half of them are all imports too, cuz US CDs pretty much suck, the pressings, fewer tracks, and sometimes no US release at all!! But things are improving here, quality-wise...
My treasured collections are of Roxette + related, a-ha + related, Cheap Trick, my Arizona scene CDs (Gin Blossoms, Refreshments, etc), Jellyfish + related, Posies + related, Letters To Cleo + related, and many others...
