Well, I just got done listening to the little snipet, and I think that it sounds very cool. It reminds me of 7Twenty7 in a way. (In case anyone couldn’t tell, I love that song :) ).

Guitar powered? Yeah well it is running in the background but I think it should have been running more PROMINENTLY. It is just a 30 second snippet I heard and atleast I wouldn’t want to predict about the rest of the song.

It reminded me of MAKE MY HEAD GO POP and now a bit of 7Twenty7.

It certainly has a good uptempo rate. How much do you guys predict? 132? 140!!!??? :)

Sound promising.. waiting for the WHOLE THING!

For me, it doesn’t sound like any other Roxette song. It’s just something completely new. Of course it reminds me of the glorious Joyride days but I can’t compare it to a particular song.

It’s a great, fresh chorus. Maybe not the best, but certainly better than The Centre Of The Heart. And I’m convinced it will do better than A Thing About You in the charts.

It’s a fantastic song, and it can be Roxette’s OPPORTUNITY to climb in charts. They need only a bit of promotion, too much than in The Ballad Hits.

@santi: what was so funny? thru all albums per have done with roxette, gt or solo, twatg is the “rockest” one. rock has a lot of meanings, but for me rock=twatg. how could you describe it ??? techno? dance?? jazz ???? twatg is a fuckin good rock music and nobody can deny it... it has real drums, real guitars, acoustic and electric ones, there are no loops or samples... it’s not rock like rolling stones used to play, but hey, it was 1997 not 1977......

About “ON”... first impression.... LOVE IT, but it seems to have synths and those annoying dance sounds, so I’ll wait to the whole song.

powerpop=pop-rock, which is an excepted term - more commonly used as a music genre.

So there goes the whole: TWAT is NOT rock! Barf! Its like saying: Bon Jovi is a heavy metal band (which they were regarded as being in the 80’s). They’re Hard Rock at the most.

Genres are bull - u know it and I know it - and lets face it, GT/Gessle & Roxette has had their ROCK moments. And they’ve had their pop moments AND their dance moments. They’re an all rounder band. And the weird thing is that they’re that F@#$ing brilliant that they can pull it off on ONE album.

- B-any-1-u-wanna-b: Surf rock
- I wish you the best: Very nice Ballad
- Elvis in Germany: Brit-pop (Sounds like “She’s electric” by Oasis, the most Blur-sounding song by Oasis :D)
- T-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-take it!: Powerpop
- I’ll be alright: Rox very good ballad
- There is my baby: = “Here comes my girl” by Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers.
- Lay down your arms: Ballad

- Saturday: opening intro is to the beavis and butthead show....good song tho
- Kix: Dance/pop
- I want you to know: descent lyrics suffered from an ilbert production
- Reporter: power pop of course
- B-any-1-u-wanna-b: a beach boys homage
- I wish you the best: the ballad roxette never recorded
- Elvis in Germany: a tribute to a hero descent song it has horns it it thank god- T-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-take it!: the onyl song they ever did with a real story descent mid tempo rocker-

What doesn’t mean it’s a reason to hate it. Dunno why people dislike Jefferson so much.

For me, this songs follows basically the natural ways of Powerpop and Rock. I guess that everybody likes Avril Lavigne (at least a little) and her songs are, well, not exactly this way, but they sound a little bit “too much overproduced”, what means, elements that aren’t exactly what you expect in that music gender. But it sounds cool, anyway...well, she was in Billboard.com radio 2002 top100...

& secondly, regarding the video in production - I have a hunch, that it’ll be a video in retrospective way, such as the one, made for Silverblue ; )
