It hurts but, depending on where you put it, the degree if pain is worse. My mum got one on her ankle (I told her that if she was going with me she had no choice) and basically, she said it hurts like a bitch. The ones on my arm were more like an annoyance than actual pain. No matter where you stick it, your endorphines will eventually kick in and lessen the degree of pain. The one on my back hurt a bit more. Basically, wherever there is a lot of flesh and less bone it’s not too bad, wherever there is less flesh it HUUUURTS... Also, it’s not just one need, on the flames I have the artist had to use 7 needles to fill them in. But, trust me, that is a good thing, else it would take forever. ;)

My next one is probably my lower back I have a whole musical idea going, since I play guitar... We’ll see... These I got on friday and are pealing like crazy right now...

As for what you want on it. Remember it is PERMANENT! Get something you really don’t mind looking at foir the rest of your life. ;) I got Leif because A) he’s cute and B) unless you are a fan you have no idea what he is. ;)

Oh! And one word of advice, stay away from red. There is a small percetile of people that the colour red will become reactant, it will peel off, and get all gross and disgusting. According to Joe (my tattoo artist) there is about 1 case in every 10,000 people.. but still... ;)

Reasoning: Leif represents my music, Klingon Crest represents my fantasies. I plan on getting 2 more: One to represent my competive side with paint ball, and the other is my love of The X-Files. The paint ball one will be my Pirahna eating a paint ball (Pirahna makes guns and other p.b. stuff), and I haven’t figured out TXF one yet.
