Recently ordered a copy of the 1984 mini-lp ’Heartland’
released by Gyllene Tider as Roxette. Have become really curious when I opened the package... as it has a golden stamp into the front cover stating ’MINI LP / 6 SONGS. PROPERTY OF CAPITOL RECORDS INC. This album is on loan for PROMOTIONAL USES ONLY. Holder agrees to return it on demand. Attempted sales are void, and in violation of law. U 624259’
The LP itself states 0-7777-15018-1 (bar code) | MLP-15018 (12”LPA, promotional edition with g . Engravement on the run-off groove stating on side 1 ’MLP-1-15018 F-1’ & on side 2 ’MLP-2-15018 F-2’, made in the USA).
Does anyone know about this edition? Couldn’t find it in the ’Look For Roxette’ discography book...

No, it’s not the same album but promotion. There’s only 6 songs. Does anyone know something else, because I’ve got it too.

It is too the same edition. No not the same as The Heartland Café, but that wasn’t the question. :)

All of the promo copies I’ve seen have just been the regular US 6 track mini-LP with a gold stamp. It sounds like the one Marcus has is different because it states right on the record itself that it’s a promo... is this correct, Marcus? I’ve heard that the promo edition is actually easier to get than the one that isn’t promo stamped (probably because it sold so poorly!).

Same as the normal edition, only it’s the promo.
