Does anybody know onlineshops ( especially in Australia, South Africa and South America) selling Roxette Records? It’s nearly impossible to get records from this regions.

Yes. Unbelievable. I found a good side from Japan: www.tokyomusicjapan.com . But I’m still searching for an Australian or SouthAfrican site.

CDNOW is now part of Amazon, sharing their collection.
Skivhugget used to be a great shop, but recently they turned really rude. They cancel orders without letting the customers know, don’t reply the e-mails and stuff. Don’t know why, they used to be my favourite shop, bought from them several times but during the past few weeks, they became so rude that I’m not planning to buy from them anymore. They suck.

CDON.com has all the albums with low prices & some singles. I believe they deliver stuff also abroad.

Pietro: was Skivhugget rude to you or do you know more people who have had problems with them? I haven’t heard any negative comment from the people whom I have “sent” there to buy Dahlgren stuff (and I sent 2 people to buy there not long ago)
Has anybody else had any trouble with them?

Yea, I know someone else who had problems with Skivhugget and has many unreplied e-mails.
But I’ve ordered from them several times and they have always been nice, so I really don’t know why they became that rude in the last few weeks. Sure I wasn’t rude with them.

I know you’re gonna hate me, but I’ve bought 3 Rox albums, 4 CD-Maxi’s, 1 VHS and a poster (All Rox) on EBay.
I think is a good place to find rare stuff.
The other on-line stores have ony the same ol’ stuff, extremely high prices or the S&H to Mexico (where I live) is too expensive.
Go to http://www.ebay.com/
Type “roxette rare” and you’ll find some pretty good stuff.
Oops, sorry, CD-R and bootlegs included.
But I found the Rarities album...that counts, doesn’t it?
The complete unplugged album (Cry, Dangerous, and Fading like a flower included) also pops out every now and then.
Cheers.

You can go to the following sites in South Africa:
www.lookandlisten.co.za
www.musica.co.za
No rare stuff there, only the goods released in SA.

I’ve heard that repeat records also sells records with FAKE autographs of Per/Marie/GT....
Does anyone know if this is true???

BTW did you know that it’s the 5000th thread ever created in SmallTalk? Whoo-hooo.
Sorry for being offtopic.

@geytenbeek
I just surfed on those sites, and they look nice.
I’m still looking for the SA releases only, but that I can’t see from the details of those cd’s. Are they import or indeed the SA releases ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
@all
In Belgium you have www.proxis.be, they also do shipping within Europe and are good.

@Roxcat
That is the web pages for the 2 largest music retail stores in SA, so it is the official SA releases of Roxette in SA. (I buy my CD’s from them…) (Prices are quoted in SA Rand: +- US$1=R9)
There was a special edition of the RS album that actually included a bonus CD with 7 tracks in SA that is not listed by the stores on their web pages, but they still have copies of this album in most of the stores. I’m sure if you email them for information they will be able to assist you in obtaining a copy.
The tracks on this bonus disc are:
2 X remixes of “The center of the heart”
Remix of Real sugar
Remix of MATAH
It will take a long long time (Rock remix)
Entering your heart
Video clip of “The center of the heart”
(All the extra tracks are on the Internet for download, so it’s nothing new.)
I know the Ballad Hits in SA does not include the extra disc. :(

But both shops are not selling any item to international customers :-(
purplemedusa said on January 4, 2003 20:26:
@geytenbeek: Firstly, L&L’s stock aren’t all SA releases - check closely when you go to their shops! Secondly, the RS double CD are very hard to find these days - there are a couple still available but only a handfull.
Besides those two shops, there’s a small secondhand online shop (www.outlawrecords.co.za) that ship anywhere and are VERY cheap. Chances of finding rare SA pressings are minimal, but one never know!
