What are the signs of Roxette around you?

I always use Roxettish Icons and wallpapers in my windows and I have a special part for Roxette in start menu.
I have a poster of Roxette on the wall of my room.
And a special place for the Roxette CDs in my cd case.
And the most important thing: I always whistle the famous melody of Joyride during walking,writing,eating or even in WC or bath!!!!!

I’ve written songs in the past with various Roxette lyrics as the titles, such as: “Back To Where I Came From” (Pearls Of Passion), “Funfair” (Joyride), and “Everytime I See You” (Fading Like A Flower).
I’m still using them for my new band too. Will put them on MP3.com and BeSonic.com for fellow Roxers to listen to someday. :)

- You don’t understand me - lyrics - written on a calendar poster (not Roxette) sticked on my door
- little Marie pic over it
- 6-7 posters (not all on the walls at the moment)
- P&M pic in my wallet
- my CD collection over my bed, with Rox & related on the top
- a small corner for Rox PC stuff CDs (vids, mp3s, etc.)
- RS tour T-shirt (worn kinda often)
and thaz it... for the moment. as getting my hands on a full-colour printer very soon I’ll have more signs of Roxette around me ;)

When I was a teenager, Roxette was all over my walls. Now that I’m older, I’ve become pretty selective in what I have– for posters, I have a Roxette Rickenbacker ad, an autographed Joyride poster and a Marie Fredriksson Äntligen poster; as for CDs, I only have the regular releases. I can’t afford to buy all the bootlegs and lps like some of you can! How do you do it? :-)
But I think that out of all the Roxette stuff I treasure, it’s my ticket stub from 1992, when Roxette came to my city for an unforgettable concert. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. That old faded ticket stub is proof that yes, I did see Per and Marie with my very eyes, up close and personal, and that it wasn’t a dream. :-)

A pic of Per hangin with my family pix on one wall, a clip out of a magazine that a friend sent me with PoP. Other than that, I have 2 mixed drinks posters, 3 submarine posters (US / Soviet Submarine Identification Chart, and 2 of the “Scorpion” ID 427 Foxtrot Attack Class Sub), an X-Files Calendar (2002) and don’t ask, but I have a Sex poster and a Pokemon poster.
Just to fill in the blanks for the last 2. Those walls were feeling naked.

Let’s see... In my livingroom, I have two Roxette posters, The Room Service ones. And there I also have my CD collection with Rox CD’s everywhere. I think about half my CD collection is Roxette related in some way. *smile* And then offcourse, I have my LP’s there too.
Then, in my bedroom, I have a poster of Gyllene Tider hanging over my bed (from Återtåget).
In my closet, I have several Roxette, Marie and GT t-shirts lying arround.
hm... anything else... yea, in my mobile, I have “Sommartider” as ringing tone, and in my wallet I have a pic of both Per and Marie. Along with my FC-membercard.
And one more thing... on the back window of my car, I have a banner with the adress to my Roxette homepage with some “Leif’s” on it to... The fun thing about that one is that I know that Per himself have seen it. Or atleast, I think he must have... since he passed me not once, but twice on the freeway out of HAlmstad this pasts summer. That is... twice in about 5 minutes.... No, I’m not kidding!!

I have RS,CBB,LS,joyride tour stuff too and many articles from germany sweden from 88-now video recordings from 86- now

I’m thinking about an Marie Tattoo too since years, but I never dared.
You have to be sure with the design for 100%, cause you have to live with it for the rest of your life. So it’s an hard choice.
AND, my boyfriend says he wouldn’t be that enthusiastic about an Tattoo on my arm or belly.
So,...it’s kind of a problem. :-(
He has an portrait by his loveband on his left arm, it looks fantastic.
I would love to have letters in a special design.
What kind of Tattoo are you thinking about? a portrait? (there I would be afraid that the picture wouldn’t look 100% like her) Or letters?

- Right now, I’m busy reading The Look for Roxette.
- On my computer, I have a Roxette-paperbackground
- On my website (http://home.wanadoo.nl/harriej) I have made several Roxette-links.
- When there is music playing in my house or my car, it usually is Roxette.

Hmmm... most recent addition would be the MATAH dj-promo LP with 4 remixes on it, standing on a shelf to the left of me. There’s the TLFR-book open beside me... and all the cd’s behind me... and a video plus the dvd....

Some of the posters you can find on eBay; that’s where I got my more valuable stuff. You just have to be careful of who you’re dealing with, I think I’ve been relatively lucky but there have been a few ripoffs. As for my earlier Rox stuff, I got from my dad (he had connections :-))

I have the same problem! I live in the uk too and cannot find anything rox anywhere! I would love a poster or two, and especially a rox t-shirt, but i am not brave enough to part with my money on the web unless it is secure. I think there should be more rox shops to help us brits!!!

Bedroom.... poster, flag, photos, old calender which I cannot bear to part with (95) and CD’s.
Living room..... most of my CD’s, DVD.... newspaper articles, 2 great colour picture... another flag, everything on my PC is Roxette related... screensaver etc...
Kitchen.... Poster, Flag, lets see more CD’s
Car.... more CD’s & little flag...
Work.... On my desk.... flag, calender (made myself!!... lots of Swedish stickers and screensaver, oh Swedish Phrase book (for when I am bored!!).

It is not impossible to find Roxette posters in the UK... e-bay is a good sight and is safe enough. Most of my collection are quite old now but I have taken good care of them... also try record fairs etc...

Let’s see...
- I’ve got several posters/photos from Rox in my bedroom.
- There are 40 CDs (more or less) of Roxette/Per/Marie/GT in my music collection.
- There are 10 video-tapes about Rox and related.
- There’s a Gessle T-Shirt signed by Per in my closet.
- My desktop theme is always related to Rox.
- There is always the same CD with all Rox albums in mp3s format inside my mp3-discman.
- All the tapes I listen to in my car are recorded from Rox & related albums (except two, with Sheryl Crow and Robbie Williams)
- The only DVD I’ve got is the Roxette DVD :)
...and finally, the tune of my mobile phone is from the “Fading like a flower” song.
