Of course I’m not serious at the moment as books are not booooring. Actually they’re extreemely amusing.Apart from Roxette, music and many other things my great passion is reading books. Different books - from stuff not so ambitious (if it’s good or interesting- that’s obvious) to novels which are seen as extremely hard, not interesting or difficult (ie. Vanity Fair by W.Thackeray). I don’t know whether there is anyone who shares this interest but anyway I wnated to know what book have you read recently?

Reading? No, I’m too tired for it at the moment, but next week, during holiday there are some John Grisham and Henning Mankell books waiting for me... YAY!!!!!!!!!

This topic is old, sorry Shama I am using this but didn´t want to make a new subject for this.
I´m curious to hear if any of you is familiar with 1984 by George Orwell? It´s a book that has changed some people life´s; more or less ;)
I have never read it but it sounds interesting.

I have a thing with vampires so I have a nice collection of vampire books I usually read.
Most booring books, usually anything they make you read in school... If I ever have to read another John Stienbeck novel I’ll scream

Ok, this is where I make myself look very boring and ignorant. I dislike reading and always have. It takes something very very special or funny for me to read it through to the end. I dunno why, but it doesn’t do anything for me. I don’t hate reading, I just find it very dificult to appreciate the words. It’s like my eyes just slide down the page and don’t take anything in. It’s not I’m dislexic (sp?) or anything, I dunno really. Im digging myself into a hole here!!! Lol, you get my point anyway?

For everyone who’s also a Sweden fan besides being a Rox fan: read Henning Mankell! He writes thrillers with a bit more to it than only ’who did it’. Placed in a beautiful Swedish scenery. It’s more in the tradition of Beck, written by Sjowall en Wahlöo. I also like the books from Marianne Fredriksson, but that’s probably only interesting for women. Psychology and family ties and stuff..

jetjet, you are right! Henning Mankell is great! I love his books. Other favourite is Ken Follett.
