BEING POSITIVE

1. Someone here said that a brain tumor or cancer is diagnosed after 6-9 months. Marie had that faint episode in September and in December the cancerous cells are discovered. This anticipation is like walking 10 steps ahead every disease. It allows doctors, patient, and anyone around to carry with the proper treatment in the most comfortable, painless (emotional and physical) way.
2. She suffered the faint, a surgery and some weeks ago, she recorded her vocals to the Pop Hits album. She went OK until this diagnosis and the news. She’s still OK, then, it’s obvious to conclude – she’s only under a very strong medical treatment that would be applied sooner or later.
3. She’s the most popular artist and probably female personality of Sweden, one of the most popular singers of Europe and has got a lot of money from it. She lives in one of the most rich countries of Europe, with the best life-condition. She has famous friends and a lot of fans. She has every support from every kind to go through this.
4. She’s a winner in life, everybody knows it. Being like this is a question of mental atittude. And mental atittude it’s all that it takes to beat a disease. It’s different in the case of people who never dared nothing in life. The winners never give up. Every challenge it’s like an obstacle that blocks the view of their holy light. And they do everything to remove the damn obstacle. Marie has years and years of holy lights that make worth fight to see them again and again.
I would add this as a fifth item, but it would be too much as list, but anyway: there’s an artist in Brazil, his name is Herbert Vianna. He’s the leader/vocal of one of the most popular bands in our “country”, Paralamas do Sucesso – they play rock with some reggae elements and a lot of other things. One year and some months back, he was flying in his particular (??monoplane?? – dunno the name of those very simple airplanes) with her wife, an english woman he met in travels. They had two kids. He crashed his plane in the sea, his wife died, and he lost the movements from arms and legs, besides getting a certain amnesia for some months. The Aeronautics authorities even wanted to sue him for that, but they found out the defect was in the airplane. He recovered his memory, his arms movements, and now, today, Paralamas do Sucesso is touring through Brasil to promote their new album, “Longo Caminho” (Long Way). He plays in the stage in a wheel chair, and of the songs are simply great, rocky and strong. He’s playing guitar even better than before.
Well that’s it: Tro, folks!!!
Tro, Marie!!!
