It has just been shown on “Del Cuarenta al uno” on Canal + here in Spain... This program is based on the most important hit list in Spain, called “40 Principales”. They showed the video (first time I saw on tv :D) and it’s number 23 and going up :P

While I’m not privvy to seeing stuff from Europe (Man I MISS living in England!!!), I do have the ATAY video on disk and I really like it. Personally, I think it has a shot to go onto MTV USA. For some reason, it... well.. scratch that. I think ATAY would have better luck with VH-1 (Video Hits-1). MTV has mostly gone cRap, R&B and other such stuff. With the exception of the Osbournes, there really isn’t much use for MTV.
Send it to VH-1. :o)

vh1 is becoming mnore like mtv too...now on behind the music they have rappers and r&b singers...they are owned by the same company. they are ruinging mtv2 which now has rap blaocks of videos its annoying ..atay won’t go anywhere in the usa count on it ...breathe would do so much better

mtv doesn’t own the music industry in the US. radio airplay is also important. ATAY could do well if Capitol records are willing to spend $$ to promote the album/single. if there’s $ for promotion, i am sure mtv will put it on the show too. it’s all about $, sadly to say

Although I slightly prefer “A Thing About You,” I still believe that Roxette are really missing a big hit here with “Breathe.” I also think “Breathe” is a better choice radio-wise for the U.S. market, and it will be a shame the song may never get a shot. I think Roxette/Capitol should put out “Breathe” as the first U.S. single and follow it up with “A Thing About You.”

ATAY is a potentially beautifull song which can make it up to the charts. Atay is very mmm..mmm.. well.. SINGABLE hehehe. The whole song fits good when u try to sing it. Almost everyone is a bathroom singer nowadays so ATAY will do good !!

Thanks God it finally appeared on tv. I thought ATAY would not enter the “40 principales” list. Do you listen to them very often? Do they play ATAY? I listen to “Flashback” every day and they play the song several times during the day.
