Per said years ago in an interview it sold over 400,000. Now years later you could add a few thousand :P

I heard the number of 400.000....
It is a shame that that less people heard this beautiful album!

if it’s really 400,000, then it’s a really good number given the minimal worldwide promotion of the album. i mean mariah’s Glitter album only sold little over 500,000 ;-)

Mariah’s “Glitter” soundtrack sold 557,000 units in the U.S. alone according to Soundscan. Internationally, 2 million +.

really? cool. i was misled by mtv us, ’cause they were just giving the US figure.

your figur of 75.000 can not be right anyway... probably for sweden alone...
ditroia said on December 10, 2002 15:07:
I think it was released in the UK, Kix was released as a 2 part single there so it must be.
It was also released in Canada & japan.
coyboyusa said on December 12, 2002 16:41:
it was released in the uk but all the singles were eventually withdrawn. The sad thing about this is per simply told emi to go screw themselves then depended on them for publicity in turn emi sacked the album...it easily could have sold a million..or it easily could have been a rox album :)

there wasn’t anything official by Per or his records company ? 400000 is very good, 75000 is not true i think.

Do you know how many copies of The World According to Gessle did Per sell?
