1st was copyprotected German edition without the EP (couldn’t wait! for the one I’ve ordered 1 day before)
2nd Canadian version from www.play.com, noncopyprotected incl. the EP ;)

In the end it turns out that I have four different “Ballad Hits”.

The German Version without the EP
The European Version with EP
The Canadian version with EP and a different look of the booklet..(it is not that glossy like the European booklets are)
The German Version with 15 tracks (not released yet I think)

Right now I got the first two of them!

Interestingly enough, both cds are the Canadian Version with the EP and not copy protected. The versions i got have no misprits.

I would be emotionally distressed if I only had one copy and it shit itself. This way I can sleep easy at night knowing that I have two copies.

So someone’s got a copy protected Canadian release? Then I think the copy protection was left from the first pressing by mistake. It was first released early last November, but those copies sold out fast. So probably the second pressing was when they finally implemented the copy protection.

Hopefully there’ll be a country where they’ll release The Pop Hits with the bonus EP and without copy protection.

@Galning.For some reason, maybe just as a hobby, some people collects records. These peoples are called record collectors. Sometimes these people, just as a hobby, collects records from other counrties. They want different versions of the same album. Thats why some people end up bying more than just one copy of for example, The Ballad Hits. But theres nothing wrong with them, I promise. Its just a hobby...

2 UK (Euro) without EP (1 for boyfreind)
2 Candian with EP but no copy protection (1 for friend in Oz)
1 European with EP and copy protection
1 Tiawan version with very nice slip case (not sure about the copy protection as I haven’t played it)

And no I don’t have a life! :P nor do I ever have any money ;)
