Morten Harket experts....

Hi... well just after Roxette my second love are A-ha and right now I’m listening to a lot of Norwegian music from M. Harket. I think his music is so unique! I’d like to know if there is someone who knows every song that came out in Norwegian. I have many but I wish to have them all. For now I have just one album “Vogts Villa”. I’m buying “Poetenes Evangelium” (when I find it) and I have many non-album songs in MP3 format. But one thing I don’t have is a complete list!!!

Pop/rock... if you can download music try “Music is communicating”, “Hard to stay awake”, “Doberman”, “Be my lover”, “Lydia” and “You are beautiful”.
He sings in English, though he has some song in Norwegian too. (“Hodet over vannet”)

Hi Storm... so you like both Roxette and Morten Harket... to reply to the other forum... how could I hate you? I think I love you already!!!

Hi roxlad!
So u saw my other message, very kind and flattering from you to make me feel noticed :)
Yes, I love a-ha and Rox both. Can´t wait to buy a DVD player and get a-ha´s dvd collection one day! Most of those videos I´m familiar with by tv. I´m glad they´re back for good and dynamic at least in some European countries. What I don´t like is VH-1 still categorizeds them as “one-hit-wonders”! That´s not true! Take On Me may be their only real hit in the States, but in Europe there was and is many more!
Be good!

It’s a pity you don’t live in Italy!!! I would have loved to meet you...

I have notice it seems like I’m asking you out!!!! What I mean is I’d like to meet someone who has the same passion for Roxette and A-ha as me... and well... if he is also a good-looking boy....

Hi, I’m also a big A-ha fan. I’ve got 1 Morten Harket solo album: Poetenes Evangelium. It’s a dark, sober album, but it’s nice. For the rest I don’t know much about his solo work. I think I prefer A-ha.

Poetenes Evangelium is a very strange album because lyrics are old Norwegian poems and it wasn’t easy to make them work as songs... but I think it’s great!!!

Another one here who loves a-ha, especially MH his voice is the best male voice existing on this Earth. No doubt about it. My dream would be to unite him and the best female voice (which is of course Marie) in one song written by the best , Perfect songwriter (obviously Per). Wouldn’t it be paradise (even for me, who is an atheist)? HA!

I’m hardly an expert... but definitely an a-ha fan. I bought “Lifelines” again in Argentina last week because it was so inexpensive. I have a story too...
When a-ha was on tour in the States, many years ago, I took two Norwegian exchange students to the concert in Chicago. It was a four-hour drive from where we lived in Michigan, so we planned to stay that night in a hotel. When we checked in... the two Norwegian boys asked the desk clerk if the hotel had a sauna. The hotel did... and after we got settled in the room, we went to use it. We had been in the sauna for only about two minutes when the door opened and two other guys came in. Yeah, you guessed it... Morten and Magne speaking Norwegian to each other. We ended up in the same hotel! The two Norwegian boys I was with started to talk to them (people tend to be friendly in a sauna), also in Norwegian [I only understood a word or two here and there], and the a-ha guys ended up inviting us to meet them again backstage.
