Per wrote a song for K-otic?
Pascal said on November 23, 2002 11:10:
Yes, it’s a typical uptempo song written by Per. Wish it was a Roxette song!

heard the song, like the sound. K-otic? Dutch? Group brougth together during TV-show/contest?

@ p-p-p-pelle:
Jep, it’s a Dutch band, brought together by the TV show “Starmaker”, which was broadcasted about a year ago. This is was a programme where there were a lot of contestants and throught voting and other “contests” the band was formed. It was like all the “Big Brother”shows shown around the world. The became and still are very popular here in The Netherlands, don’t know if they became popular outside the Netherlands.

Thanx Pascal (for the answer and the link). I tried to download this song with kazaa and WinMX but it was very hard to find!.

Wow, the sound is really cool - the voices are not the best (especially the “hey hey hey” is stupid)... would have been a cool rox-track, much better than some tracks on room service.
Thanks for uploading :)

hehe, my turn as well to say I like the song :) Would be a really cool one for Roxette to sing ! what Roxette and related song does it remind you of, at parts? I can’t really get it from the tip of my tounge... the first two lines are somewhat familiar :)

Maybe it would be a nice song if ROXETTE would perform it, but I think it’s not a great loss that Per gave it to this band!!!
@ gyllene tjej:
The part “let it all go, oh oh oh, long time ago, oh oh oh” reminds me of “I’m sorry that’s all, there is to it...” from SHE DOESN’T LIVE HERE ANYMORE!!!

Per in Madrid, press conference:
Q: There’s a new wave in European TV which is to use reality shows to manufacture new artists and singers. What do you think of these and how do they affect the music world?
PG: (raising his hands in surrender) I don’t watch such programs. I am not interested in them. It’s sad that the record companies are manufacturing artists through TV. It´s an easy and fast way of making money. Nobody loses here. This means that real bands won’t have the opportunity to get financed and supported to develop their music. However, The Monkees for instance, were created the same way and there they are. It is therefore not a modern thing. When I was young I had my heroes, my albums. And I would like my son to have the same luck I had and be able to talk about his rock heroes. What to do? (Shrugs again).

And he composes a song for one of these bands?
The guys aren’t having the best of the voices, yuk!

That song is really cool! I mean, it is just brillian, and sounds really Roxettish! Maybe not as a single, but definately this song would be the perfect album opener! I love it!
Why didn’t Per keep this great song???
richkoni said on November 27, 2002 18:23:
i wonder what per thinks about the version of the song... i mean he said he hated belinda’s versions of his songs...
the producer(s) sounds just like clarence BTW
Sascha said on November 28, 2002 07:42:
I don’t like the song that much. The voices are somehow thin! I think Per didn’t decide to give it to this TV-band.
He probably gives some unused songs to EMI from time to time and when some artist needs a song they offer it.
