I found it exspensive too .....so maybe amazon.co.uk might get some copies.....but then thats wishful thinking.
Manuroxette said on November 18, 2002 17:31:
I buy it. Because I want this book so much and the ep, too
colinvdbel (moderator) said on November 18, 2002 18:02:
The will be between 40 and 50 euro’s...Robert decided that a hardback would be best, since such a book would be much-used.
daniel_alv said on November 18, 2002 19:07:
but it’s expensive to send books... can’t you find a friend in spain who also wants it and order together...
Vixzter said on November 18, 2002 19:54:
I’m not complaining about the price of the book....as I think its worth every penny.....I just don’t want to add to that by paying half of what the book costs on postage...thats why i’m hoping somewhere like Amazon.co.uk will stock it (with the EP) coz I know for a fact that I won’t be paying 21 Euro’s for postage from them.
I’m waiting to find out what some of my stuff is really worth :)
NigelBarnes said on November 18, 2002 19:58:
Vix - agree. Maybe some of us Brits (now that a few are known) should order together and keep the postage down.
It’s almost as cheap to get a Ryanair flight and buy it myself!!!!!!!!
Alesvenska said on November 19, 2002 00:59:
What’s left for me if you’re complaining?
I live in Argentina and If I get to get it, it will cost me like 200 Euros, to buy an Euro I have to pay 3.75 Argentinian pesos, so if you consider that my salaty is 100 euros = 400 argentinian pesos, on the other hand if the ballad hits is imported it will cost me 32 euros, so.........

I was just gonna say those 8 years rotted that guy’s brain but then I realised almost 600 pages with a hardcover is gonna be f***ing HEAVY!
so yeah the shipping is gonna be big SEKs.
I have shipped all over the world and some places are not cheap. and if you got a bad exchange rate
you are gonna have to start mowing some lawns or pimp yer lil’ sis! :p
but are the inside pictures in colour????
ditroia said on November 19, 2002 02:27:
Only one section is colour, it has rare items/posters etc. The rest is in B&W if the whole book were in colour the price would be pretty steep.

It’s $45US plus $31US shipping. I had the box checked for the $45 but as I scrolled down the page to submit, I saw the shipping price. that IS expensive. Even the shipping for the F-22 jet statue I ordered at Lockheed Martin site was $7.
royalball said on November 19, 2002 06:11:
I really want that book so bad, but it’s too expensive. I wonder if enough people complain that they’ll knockdown the price on shipping.
I don’t believe that it cost that much to send a book unless it is being shipped overnight service by UPS, or FedEx.
If the price is going to be that much, they better make sure that the book is received within 2-3 days...otherwise it’s too much.
Vixzter said on November 19, 2002 07:14:
43 Euro’s is £27 UKP I have no problem with that, that seems a fair price for something that massive.....that is about the standard price for a (large)hard back book anyway.
21 euros is £13 ukp O_O if its going to cost that much then like someone has mentioned (royalball) ....I’d like it within 2-3 days :P
UK ppls who are intending to buy it.....we should all like Nigel says club together and get a cheaper postage rate....or maybe groups of 3 or 4 ppls.
royalball said on November 19, 2002 08:05:
I agree there are books in that size that are at that price.

Found this on the website of Premium Publishing:
Lower prices on all our books!
The swedish V.A.T for books has been lowerd from 25% to 6%. This means that all our books cost about 20% less for our Swedish and European customers.
Does this also go for the Roxette book? I really hope so!
kachina008 said on November 19, 2002 09:36:
also the website says the MAX for shipping is 31 euros...anyone have any ideas what this means for getting ONLY the roxette book?
harriej said on November 19, 2002 21:42:
Did you already take a look at the fanshop?
The book is there 39 Euro’s and you get an extra poster if you order before 1 december
Jud (moderator) said on November 19, 2002 21:50:

alchemiste said on November 20, 2002 20:53:
You´ll have a hard time finding lower postage rates than the ones at the Fanclub (8 Euro).
Have fun ordering: http://www.roxettedirect.com/

@kibkalo
First up, the way you call us speaks for yourself.
Second, everyone who´s interested in the progress that has been made with the Fanshop is invited to read through the following thread:

Just to find out that everything is UP AND RUNNING now... It´s just a matter of fact that some people don´t notice that things are changing sometimes.
Cheers to everyone,
Stefan.

Hi there:
Some days ago I asked directly to the book publisher how much the book would cost to me if I was living in Spain. He answered me that the price was 43 EUROS (!!!!!!!!) plus 21 of postage. I think it’s a little bit expensive (only a little bit?). I wanted to buy the book but now that I know how much...
What do you think about it? Is there someone who wanted to buy a copy for me in Sweden? Thanks in advanced!
