sudden awful thoughts...

I finished watching the dvd this morning, and i now feel really bad. when marie was talking about the fans coming up to her and talking in the street, to us it’s everything but to her its only 5seconds. That was what i’d been daydreaming about at school for the past few months: meeting Per and merely asking for an autograph. They both seemed very tense about being who they are and in the postition they’re in. I suddenly felt so awful! I think now if i were to meet him i would just hand him a note saying ’thankyou’ and then leave.
When marie said that the fans wake her up in the morning singing, that also made me think. We know they appreciate us as fans, but surely they could be left alone???
I WAS beginning to wish that I could be like Per in the way he writes and sings and lives, but now, I wish to be his friend. I wouldn’t be able to live with the pressure of people like me! One day, I WILL be associated with roxette. I would love to do the lighting for a tour if they came to the uk, but as im only 15 now I doubt I ever will unless I am allowed to do one show as a ’treat’ *hint -hint* ;)
Anyway, I don’t know what my point is, but I felt I had to write that, just to explain to myself what I meant even if no-one else does.
Per, Marie, keep roxing for a while longer so i can help in your gigs!!!

I think what Marie meant was that she understands how much an autograph/photo etc... means to fans and therefore se can spare us a couple of seconds. It is not that much fr her while it brings enormous joy to the fans. BUT of course, all hysterical fans doing silly things should think twice... we had this discussion before about respect, privacy, common sense etc... :)

Well, I suppose, we should all have a common sense since we are all adults (more or less ;)) ) but sometimes I doubt about it...

I think we must respect that they also need a privat life.
I ‘ve met Per and Gabbe twice but I just left instad of try to talk to him or beg for autographs or anything .Per was there as a “daddy” not as a star and Gabbe is too young to understand the whole thing about it.
I ´ve met Josefin and Oscar too , but I didn´t show that I reconized them.
I just left again.

well, the Problem about waking up because of singing Fans is more a problem when they are on tour... and if they keep the windows closed it should be fine anyway... it didn’t come across to me that way, that Marie was annoyed about Fans singing all night long, to me it seemed to be more like, “I am so impressed by the Fans...”
But I must agree, if I would ever have the chance of meeting them I would also just give them a note saying something like:
“A Big Thanks to Per and Marie.
Each new Album release is like a Birthday or Christmas to me. Your Music and career is a bright part of my life. I am so thankful to know your music and your talent. Thanks for sharing it.”

Reading that, I feel the same. I can put myself in their place (being a musician myself) and imagine what it would be like. As for the thank you note, I think that would be something they would hang on to for a long time. I know I would if someone did that for me. :)
