“It Hurts” is quickly becoming one of my favorite Roxette songs (then again, aren’t 99% of them?) :p It has such a haunting, dark mood. It’s so sad. Very well arranged. Strong lyrics. It’s very special.

It sounds “sad” because of the minor chord beginning both the verse and the chorus... such an easy trick :DDDDD (effective :P)
The arrangement sounds very much like a demo... a keyboard playing chords, a drum machine, an easy bass line. It could have been improved a lot with a fiddle or an electric guitar (anyway I’m a guitar player, I always think of improving things with an electric guitar :DDDD).
Anyway it seems it has been mastered and so the quality is much better than a demo itself...

If I’m totally honest I would have to say that It Hurts is my least favourite of the new tracks.

4. The Weight Of The World
5. See Me (loved this track from the moment I heard it)
6. It Hurts
I do like some of It Hurts, but it sounds like a weaker version of another song. Don’t get me wrong, I love Marie’s voice in them all.

I think “It Hurts” is a weakest version of “Happy Together”, sung by Marie. I actually don’t like it. The same with Everyday, it sucks !!!
But “ATAY”, “The Weight Of The World” and “Breathe” are PERfect... so, I’m nothing but HAPPY with this album !! :)
