Well, well, well...I thought the music for ’Every Day’ sounded familiar, but now I get it: does anybody have the bootleg ’Roxette Live in Zürich’? On CD2 at the beginning of ’Spending My Time’ you can hear an intro played on keyboard - now, isn’t this just our new, beloved, previously unreleased ’Every Day’?!
Or could it really have lain in the drawer for this long?

It could be that has been years lying over there (I have uncomplete songs from 6 years ago, and I guess that happens to most songwriters) , it could be that the record we’re listening was the demo to that song, it could be that it’s a Marie song translated into English now, it could be that they had that melody in their heads and from it made a song... it could have been many things :)

IF it is the same song and IF it is from 91 or so and IF it is written by Marie it would make sense that it reminds me of Tid för tystnad from Marie´s Den ständiga resan/ DRS in general :P

Yes you’re right!
It also reminds of a song called “I will love again” sung by a woman (I don’t know her name, they played it a lot on the radio, it’s just faster and only the verses sound a bit similar not the chorus!)
And the “backing-vocals-melody” reminds me of the NANANA... from CHURCH OF YOUR HEART-live last year!!!
Just a bit more than ONE week - and we’ll all take a deep BREATH(E)! ;-)
