Are we being tested?

Thanx God, Roxette is back. I liked Hand, I enjoyed RS, but for the first time in such a long time, I feel as if Roxette starts to set directions again instead of just following others. The arrangements of ‘It hurts’ are amazing and in my opinion, it’s the only way Roxette can ever reach a wider audience again…synth effects mixed, some irregular instruments and of course the incredible voice of Ms Fredriksson. Just love it, Roxette finally reached the new millennium in a very artistic way!
Since the songs aren’t on TBH, I’m wondering if the EP is just an extra to see how we fans react. If we like these songs, they will continue this direction, if not, well, I guess it’s the last time we hear Roxette in that style. If I’m right, the EP would make sense and I think it’s a really great idea.
What do you think?
Btw, had some non Rox friends listening to ‘it hurts’ and ‘every day’, everybody *NO EXCEPTION* loved them!

we are not being tested. roxette will not be allowed to release stuff that doesn’t sell to the masses - emi won’t put up for too long with roxette’s poor sales figures. It has nothing to do with the fans and what they want - even if per would like it to be like that!
there’s no hope for roxette unless emi decide to promote them
