Well, yeah I called EMI-Brazil, but not to say ‘I love you’. I did yesterday. They treated me very nice and educated, and gave every info I asked for – that is, I’m meaning that I did’t ask for any info over ‘Breathe’- grrrrr!!!!. They supplied me with the dates for TBH in the shelves and gave me some clues about the format of the new album (with or without the EP), ‘coz they don’t have much information about it yet, only in the next week.

Just a tip: be straight and have the questions at hand, ‘coz the EMI guy was fine with me, but seemed to be hurried, too.

TT – Hi, how are ya?
TEG – Hi, fine.
TT – Look, you released new Roxette’s single some weeks ago, right?
TEG – Yeah.
TT – Do you know when the whole album is going to be releas…
TEG – In the end of October.
TT - ?? Huh, really? But you’re talking about the whole new album, not about the new single?
TEG – Yeah, the album.
TT – “The Ballad Hits?”
TEG – Let me check it here [**Papers clapping noise**]. Yeah, it’s their collectanea. Some old hits and new songs.
TT – Do you have a date for it?
TEG – The album will be available for shop owners from October 28th. But you won’t find it this day, so don’t look for the album in October 28th, ‘coz you won’t find it, then you’ll think: ‘Well, the EMI guy is a liar’. I believe that is going to be available around October 30th and 31st. (October 31st – very proper day! Considering the tide they’re living – it’s really creepy witched thing…and couldn’t forget Per’s nails, of course…it’s like (Per knocks someone’s door): “Trick or…or…or I’ll show you my fingernails!!)

TT: And…do you have any further details about the product?
TEG: No, it’s two weeks to the release, we’ll have something more next week.
TT: It’s ‘coz…I saw in Internet that this CD is going to be some sort of ‘Double’ thing…it will contain an EP…
TEG: Ah…all right
TT: Then I also saw that EMI-Germany will put all the plus songs from EP in just one CD.
TEG: Well, I don’t have information about it, but seeing the code bar here in my sheet…it’s not a typical number for double-CDs.
TT: So, we’ll get something similar to Germany’s?
TEG: Yeah, probably, we’ll know it better next week.
TT: Probably yes, ‘coz the brazilian public isn’t very fond of singles and double albums.
TEG: Yes, you’re right.
TT: It isn’t very commercially worth.
TEG: Yeah, it isn’t.

So, that’s it people: BALLAD HITS ON STORES IN OCTOBER 30TH! It really seems that Brazil is privileged if you’re talking about media releases. Spider-Man’s DVD is being released today here, lot before than the entire world (actually, Spider-Man’s DVD was in the Streets of Copacabana and Ipanema lot before it, hehehehehe…). Save your $20 and some bucks people…’coz probably we’ll also, get the biggest TBH version too…maybe it will contain ALL the songs from the EP (that’s not precise). I’ll call them next week again.
