yes, that’s what i thought...i really can’t believe it since i like the morning song.
do you know any reasons??? bad press or so?
let’s hope that the lack of success of AoB will be a + for ROXETTE ;-)))

Ace Of Base’s success with their new album (which I think is very good) has been terrible.
No. 25 in Sweden (HAND: #1, RS: #1)
No. 48 in Germany (HAND: #2, RS: #3)

Maybe ppl have just forgotten Ace Of Base.
I’ve always thought that sort of dance pop doesn’t live forever.
And although the new tracks are good, some even brilliant (Unspeakable & the cover of Wonderful Life), they don’t really stand out. Besides, there would’ve been better choices for the first single than Beautiful Morning.

I always thought Ace of Base have also a kind of regular buyers, because like Roxette also AoB albums always charted higher than their singles (at least in Germany), the last one “FLOWERS” reached No.3 in Germany, so No.48 ist quite terrible! I like both albums!

First I thought they will flop, but I changed my mind.
When TCOTH came last year, the radiostations “forced” the people to like it, airplaycharts from 0 to 1... . The song didn’t make the success on the radio in it’s own.
With ATAY it’s different: It’s not being played that many times...people have time to get to know the song “on their own”...if you have to/can listen to a song all day on the radio you don’t buy it - so I’m sure ATAY (needs time of course) will make it!
Roxette’s popularity is increasing:
Today I heard
- listen to your heart
- spending my time
- a thing about you
- m&t&h
on the radio! that’s soo much since I put the radio on only for a few minutes!!!
the reporters say “I do like Roxette”...and things like that become more and more!
Roxette are on their way to the top again! if not #1, then #1 in the heads of the people - for sure!
BTW: how did Ace of Base chart in Sweden??? Although (or because???) they have so big airplay they charted not that well in Germany where I’m from.... .
Thank you,
Peter
